About this listen

What if you wake up tomorrow morning and realise that you do not see your reflection in the mirror, but everyone else does?

Would seeking for your reflection make you less and less of what you really are? Maybe you would become more of something else. Something that would make you discover your true self, that the mirror has always hidden behind its reflection.

In this story, your absence becomes its own character and will constantly alter, dealing with mysterious figures. They will want to help you find your reflection and will desperately want you dead. But you won't be able to die, even though it will be the only thing you crave, until the moment the universe is about to end. Then you meet her…

This adventure is as infinite as a reflection between two mirrors.

Take a chance and step into yourself, in the hope you will find a way back.

All told, would you not regret it, If you ever succeeded in coming back, after all?

This is a riveting and deeply disturbing psychological drama. Not my usual cup of tea at all, but a friend recommended it so I thought I’d give it a go. I literally listened to the whole thing at once. I was hooked from start to finish. There is a Dostoevskian feel to it with its spiritual depth and the questions raised regarding the levels of self-absorption encouraged in our society today and their destructive consequences. There’s also an uncomfortable romantic edge thrown in for good measure. Very well written. I also loved the narration, the whole book was so well read and characterised. Highly recommended!

Brilliant! Darkly compelling
