Save yourself a credit

The book is far too short to spend your precious credit on. Just look up: 50/30/20 budget, 60/40 budget, 80/20 and zeroed budget online. All very similar. If you have never budgeted before, this book may be of some help, but if you have at least rudimental understanding of how to control your finances, you will not learn anything life-changing from it.

Enlightening for my New Year's Resolution

I ordered this as my finances need an overhaul and reviews were 100% positive. The first few chapters were disappointing as just common sense, but looking back, realise that they set the foundations well.
Having read so many articles over the years regarding money, was very impressed by the original ideas on how to get quick wins (snowballing method). Rather than opt for the usual methods of saving, she gave many different options so individuals can opt for their 'best fit'. in doing so, success is all the more achievable and hopefully less painful.
Marked down the narrator as although pleasant enough, at times she was almost breathy to the point she sounded like Marilyn Monroe teaching Economics!
As this is completely unabridged, the immediate repeating of titles then subtitles can be grating.
Overall this publication is like a breath of fresh air. It's so good, I have now ordered the matching book to highlight and share with everyone I know!
