Very useful

The book is very useful and can help significantly if you are interested in mindfulness practice. It is a good adjunct to practicing meditation, as it points out helpful tips across various categories of mindfulness. However, some of it feels like filler and my feeling is that the book could have been much shorter. You definitely want to focus on actually doing the meditations, but you don't necessarily have to do the "official" ones for this book (that are available for download online), as you can find many analogous ones.

Tranquility...I slept like a baby.

I would recommend this book to those looking to learn how to make life less stressful. Say goodbye to medicine and give this an honest try.

Life-changing book

I've heard much about Mindfulness from a spiritual standpoint and while I liked the principles, I couldn't fully submit. Until I came across this. This course helped me bridge the gap of uncertainty I had on beginning meditation with this scientific research approach. Now I'm completely sold and can report a huge difference in my outlook and perception of many things in life. This was a life-changing book, very grateful to have found it!

Very effective!

This course starts with the science. All scientific double-bind tests with control groups to see the effects of mindfulness practice on any number of life quality measures from pain, anxiety, depression to back-pain and fear of death. And it is shown to work.

Excellent

This is not a quick listen... and it shouldn’t be.. there’s a lot to digest in this book. If you go through the steps it should take some time but well worth it.. buy this book if your brain goes to fast and you’re a worrier.

Very insightful approach

This is how to have a more insightful approach to life. I wish I had read this years ago. If you take the advice seriously and actually do the practices for the weeks, you will be surprised by what happens. I recommend this book highly. It is not religious in any way and is for any person of any walk of life or any beliefs.
