Great book for reducing stress and anxiety.
I never really knew what meditation was all about, I just thought it meant sitting there quietly thinking of nothing. This book taught me it is so much more than that. I have found so much more peace in my life. The meditations are easy to do when you wake up and before you go to bed and they make you feel so relaxed. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to find contentment in life!

Takes a little practice.
Takes a little practice but it's made some significant improvements in my life. I wasn't out of control, in pain, or suffering from PTSD; just working myself to death and not seeing the many simple things I've ignored on autopilot. The few minutes I take to meditate and refocus myself make a difference. This audiobook helps me too much.

Changes thinking.
Every now and then I came across a book that leaves a permanent change in my thinking. This book is one of them. I have learned to give more thinking space to myself and have a better idea about meditation. I use to think that some people were just good at it and some were not. Early on in the book I started to follow the suggestions on how to meditate and learned that it takes time and practice to get better.

An Insightful and Clear Message.
The book does an amazing job at making each chapter new and shifting the focus as your experience grows. There is quite a good deal of repetition and yet it never felt stale. Each week granted new insights from similar practices simply by providing opportunities to perceive yourself and the practice of mindfulness in a new light. High quality listen and I plan on re listening many times for the nuggets of wisdom.

This book should be listen by everyone.
Offers a clear guide to meditation from a completely non-religious point of view that's very easy to understand and explains the science supporting mindfulness. Not only does this book describe a step by step guide to meditation, but it also discusses how the mind works and how we perceive events, whether they occur inside our mind or outside of us. The authors explain how to approach thoughts and emotions that every human being experiences. This book is for anyone trying to strengthen their emotional intelligence and to learn how to meditate.

Listen this book.
This was one of the most helpful books I have ever listen. The insights are easy and indescribably rich. I have given it to 4 or 5 other people and the feedback is the same from them.

This is a wonderful book.
This is a wonderful book which combines the ancient practice of mindfulness with modern scientifically developed CBT. Mindfulness is the practice of training ones self to be fully present and detached from invasive thoughts without fight struggling or fighting. There are also some simple meditations included that are very helpful.

This is among the best books on mindfulness.
This is among the best books on mindfulness meditation that I have found. Explains how and why meditation works without new age mumbo jumbo, just scientific evidence.
Whether or not you embark on the eight-week meditiation program Kylie recommends, you will get something out of this book. The very notion that the things we worry about are "just thoughts" that we can let go of if we see them as such, is helpful. And there are others.
