Perfect resource for a mindful classroom

This book is just what I was needing!! As a 4th grade teacher who has been introducing my class to mindfulness, I was struggling with coming up with different activities to keep things fresh. I don't have to search anymore! This has such a great variety of mindfulness activities that I will be using with my students. So grateful for this resource.

Excellent Resource

This is a great collection of activities to use with all ages. It is an excellent resource of mindfulness practices for my classroom of young toddlers, my grandson, my grown children and myself. Many of the activities may seem familiar or repetitive for those who are experienced with practicing mindfulness techniques with children, but it is great to have them all organized and at your fingertips in one place!

Super Simple yet Effective Mindfulness Strategies!

I have been waiting for Chris's new book to come out and I am so excited to have it in hand and already in use! As a counselor, I am always looking for new mindfulness tools to share with the kids I work with. This book has something for everyone. Even though the strategies are broken down by age, many of them could be used by people of any age. Thanks for this great resource, especially during a time where people are multi-tasking at a level that our brains are not built for.

Very practical and fun filled.

I use a lot of your suggestions and games for the children that I coach and it makes it really easy to teach them in being more aware. They have such fun with the games and it ends up bonding their entire family together in a more close-knit and connected way. Great book with fun ideas. I’ve been using some of these techniques with my children and I am very happy with how simple they are. And my kids are enjoying and understanding mindfulness thanks to this book.

Distracted and Reduce

I'm partially through this book, & every time I pick it up I feel excited to be starting my practice, & to get my 7 & 3 year old practicing, too! Thank you for this encouraging book! It's been rough to see my kids suffering with anxiety, fear, anger, and I'm feeling like I'll have some better coping skills to help us all get through it better.

I like it very much.

A perfect tool for teaching children mindfulness and being kind in general. The distinction between being kind and mindfulness is clarified clearly and simple to understand. Very well narrated , the audiobook has a lot of powerful guided concepts and activities. It is a wonderful book with a very helpful hand-on method. Thank you very much to the author for such a great life guide!

Awesome book.

This is an amazing book filled with simple, yet thought provoking exercises to do with children. It is aligned with crafts, stories, and physical exercises promoting an exchange of mind and body awareness. This book is well done in illustration colors, short story content, cut outs, games, and posters. It is classically done, there is no outright agenda to this book other than promoting good sensible health for children and their family unit.

A great tool that I'm going to return to again and

The audiobook is easy to listen to and full of resources and methods of mindfulness that I think are useful for children as well as the inner child in us adults. The narrator immerses herself in the thrilling experience of meditation and empowers us with tools for our practice and the instructor or the parent.

Easy to read and simple to understanding this book

If you are looking for a resource to help with mindfulness activities for kids ages 5-12 this is what you are looking for. This book could be used at home or in the classroom. It is simple, the language used in the activities is ideal and it will meet your needs.

It was such a perfect find!

The author is an exceptionally talented writer, a very well narrated book and a great audiobook about how, when and why to use meditation and mindfulness exercises, as well as how to share this with children in your life as well as in a classroom environment.

I find information interesting.

Great Audiobook by Piia!

Really simple and fun to use. A side benefit is that I find myself listening along with my daughter! I'm very happy to find techniques in teaching mindfulness that don't take a lot of time and get immediate results. And the fact that the narrator's voice is so calm makes them appealing to kids.

Best book.

This is a well-done book of mindfulness activities for children and their families. The author first explains what mindfulness is and its benefits before diving into a variety of exercises the child is either meant to do alone, indoors or outdoors, with a group, or with their family. Most ideas are simple and straightforward; I think many of them would also benefit the adults in the family as well. Mindfulness doesn't have to be difficult, complicated, or require a lot of preparation.This book has exercises of both types. As many areas of the country are still on lockdown, there's even a section on indoor mindfulness activities that your child (or you) can do.

Very nice and pleasant book.

This book reminds you how you should value yourself and offers great ideas that cultivate self-love, and translates those lessons to a level that is easily understood by children. Self-love leads to higher self-esteem and I like how the audio reaches out to the listeners.

I think this books has some great tools and tricks to help parents teach their kids mindfulness (and give themselves some practice).
