I’d recommend this book

This book is intended to be filled out early on. So I’d recommend this book for a friend/loved on after they first find out they are pregnant- not as a shower gift which is usually late in the pregnancy.

Very nice book!

This is the sweetest journal for a mama. There are a lot of different aspects, journal prompts, and info that was different from your typical pregnancy guides.

I've agreed with entirely but I appreciate the way that this was presented and felt I left with some good advice about parenting.

what a rubbish

this is ok book. not worth the money since there are no any new or interesting information in it. I didnt check who is the author before I bought this book. Google haven't shown any results. who is Katherine Taylor and why should we listen to her and trust her advice ? All things in this book are common sence you will learn / read / hear all of it first week after you know your are pregnant. From your mom / sister / friends / google / your doctor. The person reading the book is very monotonous and kind of hard to listen too , but why not since I already paid for it ? I couldn't listen anymore after part about maternity clothing ... was this book written in the 80's or something ? " oversized coats and jackets look great " - said no one ever. What author is sayin about buying maternity clothing doesn't make any sence. She says : don't buy it because you will never wear it again . next sentence : buy oversized jackets... like I will be wearing oversized jackets after because oversized stuff looks so great. Give yourself a favour dont spend 10$ on this book and go buy maternity jeans , jackets at tops as soon as you feel uncomfortable in your clothes. do not use that rubbish of advice to put hair tie on your jeans. everysingle clothing brand nowadays has option for maternity clothing. I hope sales of this book helped author fund her maternity clothing expenses.

A great, informative, mostly light-hearted look a

I’ve read great books and articles while pregnant. It became too much seriousness. Then my cousin recommended this book. She said it made her laugh. It’s exactly what I needed some honest & relatable humor. I will be passing on to my girlfriends.

Helpful and hilarious

I really enjoyed reading this book, especially during the first trimester, when no one knew, but I still had questions and needed some support. I love the humor and honesty.

Great book!

Love this book. Bought it for my sister in law. This book provides more real-life information instead of sounding like a medical book and prepares you for things you may not hear in some other books

Such a good book

Very raw and real. This is the best pregnancy book that I've gotten so far. I was reading WebMD when I was sick - meaning I kept thinking something was wrong when it was perfectly fine! This book is light and easy to read. I strongly recommend.

Makes me feel NORMAL for my first pregnancy

I am 8 weeks pregnant and I LOVE these books. This is the girl next door's version of What to Expect. It makes you feel normal and comfortable. This was one of the best pieces of advice so far anyone ever told me to read/ do while expecting.

Funny and practical.

This is the best book for ladies who are going through their first pregnancy. I loved reading this and feeling relief that I was not the only person who had dealt with all the strange things happening to me. It helped give me back my sense of humor and release me from all the worry that comes with pregnancy. I liked the notes for Dad's and made sure to share them, along with lots of other stories from the book, with my husband. I highly recommend this book for all first time preggos, but be sure to get a more detailed pregnancy book like "What to Expect" to go along with it.

I really enjoyed it.

Compared to some of the more detailed and serious mom-to-be books out there, this is a breath of fresh air for your nightstand. Having read several books by medical professionals and others that go into detail about the birth process and the ways you are changing, this is just juicy, light-hearted fun. This book offers the human perspective (a sassy one at that) of the pregnancy and birth process. I really enjoyed it.
