Summary

Here we go again... Just when it seems life at Mythos Academy can’t get any more dangerous, the Reapers of Chaos manage to prove me wrong. It was just a typical night at the Library of Antiquities - until a Reaper tried to poison me. The good news is I’m still alive and kicking. The bad news is the Reaper poisoned someone else instead. As Nike’s Champion, everyone expects me to lead the charge against the Reapers, even though I’m still hurting over what happened with Spartan warrior Logan Quinn. I’ve got to get my hands on the antidote fast - otherwise, an innocent person will die. But the only known cure is hidden in some creepy ruins - and the Reapers are sure to be waiting for me there.…

Reapers, Heroes, and Logan's back!

I like the Mythos Academy books, but I do need a break between them, as the repetition is more than I prefer or generally need. They are written for YA. Midnight brings our heroes to an old ruin in search of an antidote to keep Nicomedes from dying after being poisoned by a reaper. Our favorite Spartan returns and Gwen makes a family connection.

Carry on, valiant warriors.

What the what?!

Gwen, Gwen, Gwen... what are you up to? The gypsy girl is planning, plotting and trying to keep her head above water, so to speak, since the last big fight. Logan leaving has turned her crazy, chaotic world upside down... and just when she thinks she’s going to lose her mind.... the unthinkable happens.

Reapers are always after her. It’s nothing new by this point but what she doesn’t see happening is someone she cares about being target. Accident or not it’s got to be handled. In order to save a life Gwen and a few of her friends set off on a mission to find an antidote to a poison currently running through someone she cares about.

Time is ticking and the heat is on.

But of course nothing is that easy. Reapers are getting braver, not giving them a chance to get a step ahead of them... or so they think. Gwen and her crew quickly show them just how much of a fight they’ll put up to come out on top.

It’s a fight no one is willing to back down from.

I'm hooked on this awesome book series!!!!

I only bought the first book in the series because it was on sale. When I listened to the first book I was hooked. (The series starts with "Touch of Frost".) I listened to the next and next and so forth. The narrators voice grew on me. at first it seemed awkward, but now I enjoy how it gives life to the characters. My better half got hooked on it (a 48 year old man) despite the protagonist being a young female Mythos Academy student. Although tailored for youth and young adults, the book is great for all ages!

When at a dinner with families, we mentioned it and it became a major conversation topic. (I think others purchased it after that...for themselves and their kids.)

While I suggest you start with the first in the series to make the most or of the characters and story line, if you haven't read or listened to the prior books in the series is fine to start with this one. this one can stand on it's own.

The storyline reminds me of Harry Potter...in a female version with newer technologies the characters use (e.g. cell phones).

Our Frosty Friend Gets A Lot of Friends

This is good series and full of fun, characters are great, and there are these few twists you get here and there. Our frosty friend is getting stronger and stronger, and this book was a good one, wit plenty of action.

what i have liked in Midnight Frost is the new characters you get to know here... these characters will bring an appearance in the future, and that will be fantastic.

I don't know what else to say than get this book.. its a great series.
