Contains three complete, novel-length books in the Middle Falls Time Travel series.

The Vigilante Life of Scott McKenzie

Scott McKenzie’s birthday is the first number pulled in the draft of 1969. The next thing he knows, he is in Vietnam, badly wounded. After the hell of a yearlong stay at a VA hospital, Scott tries to rebuild his life but descends in alcohol and drug abuse. When he dies of an overdose, he wakes up on his grandparent’s couch, still wounded from the war. Eventually, Scott decides to use his unusual time travel to stop violence before it happens. No serial killer is safe, because Scott knows when and where they will strike, and he will be there waiting.

The Reset Life of Cassandra Collins

Cassandra Collins hit the birth lottery - she is the daughter of the wealthiest family in Middle Falls. And yet, at 18, she is forced to make a choice; to strike out on her own to attend the college she wants or choose a life of sheltered safety. As so many would, she chooses safety but always wonders what her life would have been like. At the end of a safe, contented life, she passes away, then opens her eyes on the cusp of that same decision.

The Tribulations of Ned Summers

A murder mystery in Middle Falls! Ned’s first date is a memorable one, because the girl he goes out with his found murdered, and he is the last person to see her. He isn’t arrested for the crime, but the town convicts him with public opinion. Ned moves out of town and lives a hermit’s life in the forest. When he grows old and dies, he opens his eyes on the day before that fateful date. Can Ned unwind the mystery and stop the murder?

Enjoying the series very much so, the way all the series are linked it's an amazing piece of work, I really admire the effort that goes into these characters, in every book I felt all type of emotions, got teary eyed, smiled, and got surprised a few times, I love to play the guess game and try to predict what's going to happened next 9/10 I'm always wrong lol well done to the author for keeping my mind wondering

I love these stories

I've listed to all books up too book 9 of middle falls time travelers and loved them all. a strong and useful message in all. I love how the charters intertwine with previous books and enjoy the easy laconic style but which makes me think. didnt guess the ending for this one. should be 6 starts for the value you get aswell for 3 books.

just loved it

It’s actually quite difficult to review a collection of three books because it’s now awhile since I read the first one. However, in general they were very good and up to the standard I expect from Shawn. The narration was brilliant encapsulating the characters in the various novels and the story is so different that it’s refreshing to see such a topic as time travel and reliving one’s life written in such different ways.

The vigilante life of Scott McKenzie was probably the favourite of the three books. The Poor chap lived his life so many times and in the end managed to have a good one. So in this case keeping going and carrying out his mission worked.

The Reset life of Cassandra Collins was probably my least favourite of all the books so far. Even though it was written as a time travel adventure it was a love story or lack of finding love story. I did like the ending but it seemed a little bit over long for my liking.

The tribulations of Ned Summers oh my goodness I so felt for the guy trying to save the poor lady Mary Malone. You have overriding a message from this story was that you can’t always set out to achieve what you want to achieve and perhaps need to let go at sometime. And it was it was very obvious that he was never gonna quite get what he wanted at the end. When Semolina from the universal life Centre appeared and sort of guided him without guiding him I thought to myself let’s hope he takes the hint. He did and I’m pleased to say that the story ended quite nicely.

I’m looking forward to the next trilogy of books from Shawn Inman.. But I’m gonna take a break and read a different series of books for a few weeks or months and come back to this because it’s just too good to use up all the books in this wonderful author series all at once.

A great collection

I do find these books entertaining for the most part but sometimes I just think there’s an easy solution and they never take it.
I’ve only given it 4 stars since I didn’t connect with the second story. I got a few chapters in and baled on it. The other stories were good. Can’t complain about getting your monies worth. I look forward to the next omnibus.
