Summary

An introduction on mental strength and toughness and how to develop it for yourself. Lots of success and failure is determined by what happens in your head. This is a guide on how to get your head right with actionable steps. Be successful and start now.

You might be wondering if mental toughness is a trait that can be passed on. Is it something that can be inherited? Something with which you are born? Or can you develop mental toughness?

Well, the good news is that it is a trait that can be developed by anyone. The only condition is that you will need to be willing to put in all the effort it takes to achieve a mind that’s tough. Right now, you must be thinking that it isn’t possible. You might be surrounded by people who seem to be getting everything for which they ever wished. Maybe a friend got into the college they chose, they got chosen for the sport team, got their dream job, or something else. Does it seem like everyone is getting what they ever wanted except for you? There you are, hoping for the same things, but you aren’t able to enjoy the same opportunities.

Build your success today.

Great introduction to being mentally strong

I really appreciated this book and the practical advice it gives to developing mental strength. It doesn't matter if you're mentally fragile now, if you read this book and follow Jacko's advice you can begin your journey to a better, stronger mind. It helps that the book is about an hour long too as I was able to easily digest it. Will listen to it again many times over. Thanks Jacko.

It is a life long process, consistency is key!

Such a good book, use it as a reminder to one's overall outlook. Set goals, set a plan & do it. Doesn't matter if one surpasses the time set to accomplish it. The key is to be consistent & open minded. Learn from every experience & be positive.

On the road to recovery...

I’m doing a daily journal now for about 20 minutes a day. I think hearing this advice as opposed to reading a self help book has benefited me so far. I always get bored or fall asleep or think about what I’m going to eat for my next meal when I’m reading books like this and then never get beyond the first couple of chapters. Listening to the suggestions makes more sense to me. I have so many problems in my life & didn’t think I could cope with them but now I’m starting to think differently. I haven’t cried myself to sleep in a few days and that’s a record for me. I’m usually scared to face tomorrow but now I’m only slightly uneasy. I need more work but I’m trying to hang in there. Thank you.
