I’m very glad that the last book in this series wasn’t a fluke, and this one is also really good. The author has really upped their game with this series and I think they must have a great editor and team too. The flow, chemistry between the characters, and story are all spot on and they’ve chosen a great narrator again (on the whole) like with the last book (only reservation is the Scottish accent is a bit off at times which distracted me so knocked off a performance star for that).

The book is like a fantastic Romcom movie, but the benefit of audio is that you’re not relying on the natural chemistry of the actors, and every bit of the chemistry in the writing comes across as intended by the author. Cheesy ending, but as you want in that feel good climax of a romance you’re invested in.

Whatever the author has done to improve their stories with this series they should keep doing as it’s really paying off.
