Terrific cookbook

Not really a diet per se - I bought this on kindle version, which really made me happy, because it saved paper in addition to giving me access to mediterranean recipes anytime my computer or iPhone was handy. Great recipes, easy to make with everyday foods. I highly recommend it. Lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks.

Fruits, Nuts, and Veggies, Oh My! A Diet That Work

Diet. That dreaded word for most of us. However this book, The Mediterranean Diet, includes no pills, crazy engineered foods, or strict limitations. It simply teaches about how to use foods you most likely eat often anyways, in a more proactive way. The diet consists of a more European cuisine, including food from the entire food pyramid, with a focus on just eating more of certain types.

Great starter book

People who are complaining about the amount of content didn’t read the title. This is a great beginners book. The recipes are easy and yummy. It was a great book for 9 bucks. It also gave a lot of information in the beginning and 7 daily meal plans.

A Good book

I love this book! It’s like a good book you can’t put down! I need structure in my life and this book does that! Or well for my eating habits at least! The recipes are of food you have heard of and can get from a local grocery store. I wish it had more recipes! But I love the break down! I highly recommend for someone who is just starting out this book will help you understand the whole process

Easy to follow guide to healthy eating

In "The Mediterranean Diet for Beginners" you'll find that exact combination - an easy to follow, no nonsense approach to more healthy eating emphasizing lean meats, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and little to no processed food along with a lot of references to primary research resources demonstrating the value of this diet.

While the obvious chapters organize the book - breakfast, lunch, dinner etc - it also provides some sample daily menu plans, and includes links to those recipes later in the book. In that way, the book allows you a couple different ways to get started along with lots of different combinations and suggestions. The recipes have few ingredients that don't require a lot of shopping or buying ingredients you'll never use again, and are easy to follow regardless of your cooking skills.
