good but needs an accompanying PDF

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

So, this was a book picked up on a whim because my wife loves Mediterranean food. I found the content interesting and I think these recipies sound good. That said, I really wish there was an accompanying PDF you could download to read the recipies while you try and recreate them. I think I'll have to listen again and write them down. The narrator speaks at a normal pace, but it's hard to write down exacting information while someone talks. Anyway, take my thoughts with a grain of salt.

An education in healthy eating

Are you ready to eat your way to health? This is more than a cookbook, it is a whole new way to view food. It includes some delicious sounding recipes to illustrate the dietary philosophy presented here.

This is your time. You don’t have to starve yourself to lose weight. Eat great food in moderation and start seeing the benefits.

The narrator did a great job, a few editing mistakes that could have been corrected with a final listen through, but they were minor.

Lots of Information

This book was nice in that it gave a lot of information on what the Mediterranean Diet is and a lot of the history of it. I just wish there had been more recipes. The recipes that are included sound amazing and I cannot wait to try them.
The narrator was great and talked a tad fast, just a tad.

Mediterranean Diet

A great introduction to the ins and outs of the Mediterranean Diet. I haven’t tried any of them yet, but the recipes sound amazing.

I wish there was an accompanying pdf of the recipes, or at least a list of what time stamps to find them at. It will be very difficult to pinpoint exactly where each recipe is in the audio copy of the book.

Very well done

Very good entry into the Mediterranean diet. Presented more as a lifestyle and a new way to look at eating than a calorie count. Zac does a very good job presenting all the information. I received a free copy of this audio in return for an unbiased review.

Great Introduction to Eating the Mediterranean Way

This short audiobook does a great job introducing the foods traditionally consumed by the nations living near the Mediterranean sea. It starts out by listing the agencies that have scientifically established this particular diet's health benefits as well as what those benefits are. Then the author lists the key ingredients that make up much of the meals of the region, what to look for when purchasing them, as well as how to use them. Several recipes are given at the end of the book to tie it all together.

It's all good stuff! I know it just scratched the surface of the health science backing up the Mediterranian Diet's assertions, but I felt it presented enough information I can incorporate it into my daily eating regimen and also pointed me in the direction I need to go for further study.

While listening to the recipes, I found that I wanted to stop and start as I listened so I could make notes and record the recipes I wanted to make. While I love the convenience of audiobooks, cookbooks in audio format still required a scribe, me, in order to really get the most out of them. If you are looking for some good recipes on the go, or you are seeking to change undesirable eating habits, I can recommend this audio title as a good resource worthy of a place in your Audible library.

I was given this audiobook for free at my request in exchange for this honest and unbiased review.
