Max und Moritz gehört zu den früheren Werke und war schon zu Buschs Lebenszeiten ein überwältigender Erfolg. Heute gilt Busch als einer der Urväter des Comics und ist aus der Geschichte des deutschen Humors nicht mehr wegzudenken. Wir haben unserer Lesung die Urfassung von 1865 zu Grunde gelegt.
