Faithful explanation of many Biblical truths!!! Obviously, Christian discernment should be used when using any commentary. Does the explanation align with God's word as expounded in the Bible?

Listen to this in conjunction with daily Bible reading

Some helpful exposition on each chapter as you read through the word of God. Works very well when listening to an audio version of KJV through the year.

It is in two volumes, the first covering most of the old Testament. Each are of equivalent length so you can budget six months for each if reading Genesis to Revelation in one year.

Good value even though broken into two credits.

One point of particular note. MH repeated states based on scripture that we expect Israel to be restored to their own land again one day.

So even in the seventeenth century there was an earmest expectation among Evangelicals that there should be q return. And now we are living in times our forefathers anticipated would be.

Whether they would even have imagined how the flip side of this would play out is more debatable.

A fine companion to the reading of the Bible
