What did you like most about Matilda?
I love every bit of the book. It's thoroughly entertaining and Kate Winslet was spectacular.What was one of the most memorable moments of Matilda?
Several. I love Mrs Trunchball's encounter in class with smart Nigel 'unless-you-want my-middle-name' Hicks; the part where Lavender put the newt in her cup of water, and of course Matilda.I think this is the best of Roald Dahl's books.

A wonderful reading of a fun story, kept three girls 5,6 and 7 spellbound on car journeys for a couple of weeks and begging for more as soon as we all got into the car again.What did you like best about this story?

Performance - Winslet puts in a good performance here. The volume can change dramatically at times which is frustrating for comfortable listening. The accents she uses are good and Matilda’s own matures throughout. Overall enjoyable
