Not like the first book

Too much detail on Corey's construction jobs. Bad tone in general with Corey showing off way too much ($10M house, $2k juicer, rims on his pick up truck etc.).

Nothing much to gain

Got nothing much out of it. felt that there were other people's stories clubed together in to it which can be found else where as well, hence it's so long. I liked the first book how to be a 3% Man. the first book is very effective. wish I could get a refund on this book.

Worse than the dentist

Cory I like your work in general but this book is terrible! It puts a whole new meaning on "watching paint dry".It is like getting stuck with the most boring person at a party. The content seems to be a story of Cory's life and some quotes "Mastering yourself, how to align your life with your true calling etc,I didn't find any of that sorry hours of wasted time listening to a boring story that is so badly narrated to be truly painful.Cory your a life coach not a narrator!

A tough listen

Sorry, but I couldn't get on with this. It feels more like a set of therapy notes then a book on mastering yourself. I think that Corey forgot the central topic of this book and instead wrote an autobiography to process his own feelings about different issues in his life. the end result was that this felt mostly like a barrage of negativity and issues with various people. There are good bits, here and there, but this is a book that is crying out for an editor to work through it and both cut large chunks and also change the focus back to the title and away from autobiography. Really wanted to like this, because I like Corey's newsletter, which is why I bought this in the first place. But I just couldn't. I got half way through and had to stop (I hardly ever do that). I started to dread listening to it while exercising, because I found I was expecting some new backbiting about someone he didn't get on with, or some other negativity. The focus is just off. It feels massively like it needs an edit. There is probably a really good book buried in here, but it needs to be uncovered with a rewrite, cuts and a change of focus.

Some good advice buried in a pile of garbage

There is some good advice here (how to behave at interviews, improve your health and believe in yourself), but it is very much hindered by other stuff that has nothing to do with the topic of the book (how the USA is the best country in the World, how Islam is bad and should be stopped, why it is justified to be suspicious of black people and to exploit the fossil fuels as much as possible). I think it is really heavy and drastically needs a revision. As it is now, I recommend it only to people who have read How To Be A 3% Man and would like to gain a bit of knowledge, but don't mind listening to the toxic experssion of Corey's political views.

Resonates with my soul.

An absolute joy to read and listen to Corey Wayne's thoughful words of wisdom. I've been following Cory since 2013, my life and my relationships have sky rocketed to beyond my own imagination. I wish I could give back in some way to Corey as I owe to him, much of everything I have become. I will continue to live a life of fulfilment and joy in return I hope this positive energy will reach you too.

A guy talking

What a pile of c.. There's obviously some interesting stuff, but... probably undigested pieces of food from pple who had something to say. Well done to him for being successful by you buying his book, watching his videos etc about how to be successful. He stepped into politics and power, where he lost me. Just stick to the women and men relationships.

too much a biography...I

The 3% Man was a master class but....... I am sorry but it was too much of a biography...it was like his life stories...infuses he was trying to say everything happens through hard work and dedication which he had to achieve his awesome life but, it was a let down I'm afraid.

Brilliant for 95%

Loved the book, enjoying hearing about Corey’s life, joys and struggles inclusive. There are some great nuggets of information and inspiration throughout the content. However, I wasn’t particularly interested or pleased with Corey spending over an hour reading the constitution with no explanation to its relevance. As you having readers from all over the globe not sure how amendments to the US Constitution is relevant to mastering myself. However both this and 3% man have given me great guidance in being the person I want to be. So thank you.

Good Job Corey

There is nothing wrong with this book. When I saw 3.9 stars out of 5 I thought there must be something off. I don't really read anything below 4. I read it anyway and it turns out the 3.9 out of 5 is mostly political. Corey is conservative and apparently some readers cannot hear a difference of opinion, and seek to suppress a different worldview with low vote stars.

Misleading title

This book is all over the place. It's more like a biography on his life and then rants about politics and conspiracy theories. Repeats A LOT. You can apply some of the things he did in his life you learn from this book to you, but it's nothing like his first book that is actually TEACHING you how to master relationships or in This case, yourself. This book doesn't teach you anything really. no steps or guides or anything. disapponted, but the first book is amazing so I still love coach. This book just was really misleading. I thought it would be about how to master yourself with steps etc. Not just "here's my life story you might benefit from some of the things I did".

Autobiography!

Ok, Corey's videos in YouTube are awesome and helpful. Also his other book is good and helpful. This book thought is just his biography, his political and various beliefs and opinions. Not recommended.

dull and uninformative

this book was a struggle to finish his first book 3%man was far superior in conveying information in a format that was understandable and fluid thru this whole book I don't believe that I learned much if anything about improving or mastering myself

Absolutely an inspiration read

I have never been much for reading my entire life, I still today absolutely do not enjoy spending my free time reading. That being said, after discovering Corey Wayne's youtube videos and watching almost every video from 2011 all the way to 2013, back in 2014.I finally "read" his book, %3 Man. It took me about 4-5 times reading the book to get past 50 percent. As he says you need to read a book multiple times. I finally finished his first book, and I've read it 4 times more over. He's inspired me from his first book to focus on my purpose, and as of today I still hate reading books. But reading these books has given me a better understanding of what really stands between you and the world outside. This book really follows his life, his struggles, and what works for him. Its not necessarily a guide to your success but its a guide to help you find your own success. Everyday, you can better your life by focusing on your health, environment, and join the pain to finally gain pleasure. This book is an absolutely incredible read/listen. What makes the book even better is Corey Wayne reads his book from his own perspective, about his own life experiences, and you can hear the emotion in his voice; for instance, you can tell he smiles, or gets an assertive tone when its required because he's reliving his experiences all over again. This makes the book so much easier to get through, and makes you want to listen to all 17 hours of it without thinking twice. Corey is a normal person, he's not a brilliant genius. I mean no disrespect by that, he's dedicated and stands up for what he believes -- he's struggled, he's been fortunate, he works extremely hard and push through and get to where he is today, which gives him incredible wisdom and perspective that very few people have to offer which is why this book is exactly what you need when you feel --"Enough is enough". Pick it up and read it. You will gain perspective, connect through emphatic moments. I'd like to thank Coach Corey on giving me the opportunity to connect on this level.

Masterfully done! Another great book by Coach Corey Wayne.

The book really challenged me to look at myself closely and face my fears and short comings head on. It also challenged me to get to know myself better so that I could live out my purpose in life which is the reason I read the book in the first place. I would recommend this book to anyone that is searching for the truth about themselves and life. I gave it such a high rating because I can see that the content is something I want to know and understand completely so I plan on reading it 10 to 15 times so that I don’t miss anything in the book. Great job Corey!

One of the best audio books I have ever listened

Corey really knows what he is teaching. This audiobook teaches you how to become self reliant. He also covers a lot of topics such as health, technology, religion, politics and a bit of history. I hope this book will help a lot people.

Interesting autobiography/self improvement manuel

More of an autobiography than an action plan but you can always learn from someone else's story and some really good tips and strategies are included. There are some politically leaning recommendations and a full reprint of the Constitution and Bill of Rights which weren't particularly interesting to me. Maybe they might be to others.
