Would you listen to Mastering Your Mean Girl again? Why?
Yes, I would definitely listen to parts of this again. I found Melissa a brilliant comforting voice to listen to. I listened to this mostly on a morning to give me a boost and in the Bath to quell those anxieties before bed. She is encouraging and personable weaving her own stories into her advice. She doesn't push or preach but lets you know what helped her and hopes it can do the same for you. I often struggle to find books I enjoy the content of and enjoy the narrator but this has everything. If you read or listen to a lot of self help books some of the material is similar but Melissa puts her own personal twist on things. Even now a few weeks after finishing the book I still in my head refer to that critical doubtful voice as my mean girl. Thinking of it like this has really helped me deal with it. I would say a must read for any self-help fan, definitely a soothing book. Thanks Melissa. What other book might you compare Mastering Your Mean Girl to, and why?
I think its quite similar to Feel the Fear and Do it anyway by Susan Jeffers as she combines practical tips and advice with her own personal experiences of herself and her clients.Have you listened to any of Melissa Ambrosini’s other performances? How does this one compare?
No I haven't but after listening to this I would definitely listen to some more of her work. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I think Melissa's own stories really moved me. It just highlighted how she wasn't stuck up and preachy and I genuinely felt she had something honest to say. I also really took to the part about understanding your mean girl.Any additional comments?
I would definitely recommend.Melissa is like a best friend! Must Read!
