Summary

A steamy standalone prequel in the Interstellar Bride series

Amanda Bryant has been a spy for five long years, but when aliens suddenly appear claiming a deadly enemy threatens Earth's very survival, Amanda is asked by her superiors to accept the most dangerous mission of her life...volunteer to be an alien's bride, to share the strange warrior's bed, and then betray him.

Accepting the assignment, Amanda is processed as the first Interstellar Bride and transported halfway across the galaxy to her new mate's battleship where she awakens to discover she has been matched to not just one huge Prillon warrior, but two.

Shocked by her craving for the touch of two dominant alpha males, Amanda attempts to hide her body's immediate reaction to Commander Grigg and his second, Rav. Resistance is futile as her new mates expect to control every aspect of her life, and her pleasure, and neither will hesitate to deliver a thorough and embarrassing spanking should she disobey their sensual commands, or resist a complex and deeply arousing series of medical exams designed to ensure her sexual readiness for their claiming.

Seduced and cherished by two alpha alien warriors who hide nothing from her, Amanda quickly comes to realize that the threat to Earth is very real. When she witnesses a battle with the enemy and the resulting death of a highly respected warrior, she knows she must tell her mates the truth and hope they can forgive her for her duplicity before it's too late.

Loyalties will be tested as Amanda fights the most important battle of her life. How can she protect the warriors she has grown to love and save the people of Earth from making a terrible mistake? Will her human contacts believe her when, with every touch, every look, they will see just how thoroughly she has been mastered by her mates?

My favorite of the series

For mature readers only;) This is my favorite book of this series, though some of the sex might be a bit logistically unrealistic. While this is book 6 in the series, the timeline places it as a prequel to the series. The description for this book is clear and detailed enough to decide if it sounds interesting. I can add that I think the plot and characters are well written within the world the author has created. It’s an enjoyable time out.
The Coalition has landed on Earth and told its populations that we’re being assimilated. In exchange for its protection, Earth would send soldiers to help fight against the Hive; and brides for those of the 260 alien races which are compatible. We find out that the Wardens at the processing centers are human widows of Coalition warriors, but there’s still no info on how that took place.
Amanda Bryant is a spy and the first volunteer for the Interstellar Brides program, since they were not yet taking soldiers. She is matched with 99% accuracy to Prillon Warriors, commanders of the Coalition forces. Amanda is expected to obtain information, schematics and weapons for Earth. None of the Earth governments likes not being in charge; and not being given Coalition weapons and technology.
Amanda gets her proof that the Hive is real and a major threat. She has to choose where her loyalties lie.
Pottsworth and Conway do a good job of narration. Their voices fit the series well.

Extremely Sexy

I am truly enjoying this series and hope that Audible will be able to release Book 4 since this is the 3rd time readers of this series revisit this alien race. The narration by both Audrey Conway and BJ Pottsworth, as always, solid and sexy. Only drawback to this storyline is that it seems to be a prequel for the Interstellar Bride Series. In books 1 and 2, the program has been functioning for some time and this timeline has the aliens making first contact with earth. The reader needs to fill in the blanks by themselves with information given throughout the story. It's an enjoyable quick read that keeps one waiting for the next audible installment of the series.

Hot sci-fi erotic romance

Grace Goodwin sure has a great thing going with this series. I enjoyed the story of the first Interstellar bride. The characters are well written and memorable and there is just the right mix of drama, romance and erotica. Narration was very well done as well.
