🌻 Life Begins The Day You Start A Garden ⛲
A very useful book. This is the one book you would need to have a great garden for your house. Author Kate Molina's book is like a finely manicured & landscaped garden. She has structured it well and it encompasses everything to do with gardening & landscaping the full outside area of your house, covering the front, the back and also the sides. She has researched the subject well and has dug up a lot of dirt for us! The audio book comes with a handy downloadable PDF which helped me a lot.
What I liked about the book is, the author accentuates among other things:
- The needs & benefits of proper landscaping,
- That best outdoor spaces encompass both, a feeling of enclosure & openness.
The author gives lots and lots of practical advice & suggestions on how to lay paths & steps; how to select flowers & vegetables depending on the sunlight; how to attract butterflies and repel mosquitoes by selecting the right variety of plants.
The narration of Rebecca Johnson is excellent and she 'grows' on you.
I highly recommend this book to all gardeners, non-gardeners and anyone who wants to increase the value of their house and maintain good health as well!

Great Value
i stumbled across this book in the hope i can gain some insight to landscaping my garden,
i am a little clueless when it comes to gardening but this book has given me the fundamental tools i need to have an attractive garden! Learning about the different styles was really interesting. The free PDF that also came with the book was great!

Perfect for Beginners
This had a lot of great information in it not just for gardening but for landscaping too. I really enjoyed the section that talked about annuals and perennials and what to look for.

Highly recommend this book
The author does an excellent job in explaining how you can build your own outdoor sanctuary. I have only recently got into gardening so i am a complete novice and this had a lot of tips that are helpful for beginners trying to start landscaping their garden. I really enjoyed this book because it did a good job in talking you through perfecting the various aspects of your garden and what you can do to enjoy it even more! The money saving tips/tricks were so helpful and invaluable. Those money saving tips alone are worth the investment in this book. Going to get it for my dad for Christmas.

Great tips
I found this very easy to follow and the tips don't require you to be an expert gardener. Great explanations throughout, I'll be making some tweaks to my garden before the summer's up :)

Great ideas for garden design
I have a small garden and always wanted to do more with it, but worried I didn’t have enough space. This book gave so many great tips, and loving the suggestions of flowers I could use too. Great listen and lots to take away to implement.

Very enjoyable
I've been gardening and designing my gardens for 30 years, and also done RHS courses in horticulture and garden design so wasn't sure how I'd find this audiobook, but I think it's excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I found it was quite like revision notes on everything I'd learned, the ideas were not new but summarised and put into thie right places. It is very well organized and logical with no rambling repetition and is incredibly compact so don't be fooled by the listening time. Every sentence contains something useful. It also fits comfortably into a gardening session, and is the perfect audio accompaniment to doing the garden.
