Summary

There are days on Willow Lake... Daisy Bellamy has struggled for years to choose between two men - one honorable and steady, one wild and untethered. And then, one fateful day, the decision is made for her. When the wind is so still and the water so calm... Now busy with a thriving business on Willow Lake, Daisy knows she should be happy with the life she's chosen for herself and her son. But she still aches for the one thing she can't have.

You can almost hear your heart beat... Until the man once lost to her reappears, resurrected by a promise of love. And now the choice Daisy thought was behind her is the hardest one she'll ever face....

Soap opera on audio

Plot predictable, character development shallow and narrator totally annoying. If Barbie the doll could talk she would sound like the character Daisy in this audiobook. Don't waste a credit. You will be able to pick the paperback up for free in the near future is my bet.

Excellent read with strong character development.

Enjoyed the book from beginning to end. For me this was a much anticipated 'next' in the series but the story and character development definitely stands on its own.

not needed

out of the whole Lake shore Choronicles you can skip this one. Daisy just needs to grow up! you could mix her in an out of the rest of the books! I only got it because I like the rest of the books, to be truthful I have it on CD so I read the first and last of it!!!!!

Enjoyable

I selected one of the books the Lakeshore series on a lark from my local library and have gone on to read/listen to the entire Lakeshore Chronicles series. It's and enjoyable series when you are looking for light, easy reading/listening.

So Good I HAD to Skip to the End

This one had me on the edge of my seat. I was so consumed with it that I had to skip to the end so I could relax and enjoy the rest of the book. I usually never do that.

Very Emotional Story

Susan Wiggs has a way of making the characters of her books come alive! Great narration by Joyce Bean.
