Summary

In the New Republic, every woman must marry five men.
It’s the law. Welcome to the apocalypse.

Part Two, Books Four to Five. Look for Part One for the first three books in the series.

Theirs to Defy

Drea was completely lost except for Eric’s hands cupping her face. Eric’s blue eyes piercing hers.

“This isn’t a marriage where each of us get a sliver of you. No, baby, that’s not how this is gonna work. You have to give every one of us all of you. Pour it all out. Every single drop of yourself and trust that we’ll fill you back up.”

His stare only grew more intense.

“We will never leave you. Never forsake you. We are yours until the end of time. And baby, you are ours.”

She defies them at every turn.

But will they master her in the end?

Theirs to Ransom

She was always daddy’s little princess.

They’re vicious outlaws.

Now she’s theirs, and they’re not going to let her go without a fight.

Sophia Wolford’s always looked at the world as if the glass is half full.

Even after the apocalypse.

What’s the point of focusing on the negative, after all, when you need to get busy rebuilding the world?

Finn Knight sees things differently, however.

His motto is: Trust no one, and always suspect the worst.

Not surprisingly, Sophia and Finn get along like oil and water.

When Sophia sees an opportunity to save not only Jacob’s Well, but the entire country which is on the brink of war, however, Finn is the only person who can help her.

Had to skip to last chapter

I couldn't get through the last book. Sophia was the most annoying character. Too self important and quite honestly, stupid. I had to skip to the last chapter because I wanted to know what happened with the other characters.
Wish this series ended with a better story...

Sophia is the worst character of the series

The female character lead is sad and woefully inept throughout the entire book. It makes the apocalyptic story less believable.

Sophia is literally the worst.

This was so hard to force myself to listen to. It was a total waste of a credit. Sophia made you wish bad things happened to her because of her stupid, self centered, head in the clouds attitude. It's not like she didn't know what went on in the rest of the world. I'm actually not happy that she got a happy ending because I don't feel like she deserved it. Then to give her a burst of action at the end to make up for all the stupid things she did in the whole book, so utterly annoying.

The series was good

I enjoyed the series although some parts were not feasible like all the men not touching anybody even though they had very few women sometimes it got a little out there but it rain back in very quickly another thing was the women were bad ass even if they made a bad decision they owned up to it and the guys you love them hate them and then you definitely love them or love to hate them but that was only one in particular for me well worth the credits that I purchased for the entire raffle box sets I don’t often leave reviews although I know I should one other thing I absolutely loved what is the narrators very very good

Returning now

I'm all for a strong lfc, but this character is e,friendly ride and annoyingly grating. i like my female characters strong, independent, and take-no-prisoners, not bitchy, scathing, but randomly "drop dead gorgeous, so let's forget her faults" -ish.
