Dull. I generally only read mysteries, but I couldn't wait until these stories ended - or was it waiting and hoping each would get started! Perhaps I'm not a fan of short stories, but as each ended, I felt "is that all there is?", or "whatever". Hard to believe these stories were written by professionals.

Bad sound recording
the stories were all quite what you'd expect, but the sound quality was very bad. I have never heard such bad sound quality, it sounds as if it was revorded on an old mono cassette tape machine of old. I expect modern quality for the money i oay, and will more careful with my book selections.
Delightful listen for a long drive
My husband and I love the short story format for long drive listens - they give us a chance to get up and stretch between stories. These stories were well written and (mostly) well read, interesting enough to keep us listening, and all with subtle little twists that made us laugh.
