Summary

Gwen Alexandra does not need a man in her life. Especially not a man who looks like Chris Hemsworth and Joe Manganiello's love child. One wearing leather, riding a Harley, and covered in tattoos.

Gwen can bet every pair of her Manolos that Cade Fletcher is trouble. From the moment she meets him, the attraction sizzles between them. Gwen has a problem when it comes to attractive men in motorcycle clubs. The last one she got involved with almost killed her.

After healing physically, Gwen decides to get a new start in a small town, half a country away from the man who nearly cost her her life. She isn't in town five minutes when she runs into Cade, a man who is too sexy and dangerous for his own good.

She tries to keep away from him, to ignore the attraction between them. But the biker has other ideas; soon she is in way over her head, and her heart and her life are in danger once again.

Contains mature themes.

Good, not great! Not much MC life in this Romance.☹️

This wasn’t the best MC romance I ever read or listened to. Honestly, it’s not even in the top ten. I have this opinion for two reasons. One, I really wish that the book was written from a dual POV. There was several emotional situations that Kade went through that the reader just had to guess about Kade’s feelings. I think knowing what was in Kade’s head and heart would have made for more of a connection with the listener/reader. Second, having Kade’s POV would have allowed for more plot about the actual happenings in the club. The fact that the story was really just on the periphery of club life made the book just a romance, not a MC romance.
The story had some slow spots and the narration was fine, I was just in the mood for a MC romance so this was a bit of a let down.

The storyline just has it all!

OMG!!!
Liberty one of the best MC books I have ever read!
When I say it's awesome I mean it. I simply discover Making the Cut
By sheer luck. I devoured the audiobook like no one's business. Then I bought all the other books in the series. I soon devoured those.

Now I have read my fair share of biker books, but Making the Cut is a huge standout. The writing is off the chains extraordinary!!
The storyline just has it all!
Plus the audiobook is so brilliantly narrated!

Amazingly beautiful

Well done. Could not get enough of this wonderful audio book. The characters where fantastic, all of them. The story grabbed you and I could put it down. I loved every second of this biker romantic story. You have to read it. I just hope the rest in this series will be just as amazing. The narrator Emma was fantastic.

Great start to this MC series!

Gwen Alexandra, New Zealand native but NYC transplant, has recently relocated to Amber, CA. She has barely survived a brutal beating by her ex-bf, who was a member of an MC, and needs a fresh start. On her first day at her new house she runs into...yep, a biker. Although a bit skittish, Gwen is drawn to the broody biker, Cade, and soon gives in to the attraction. Of course it's not all smooth sailing since we have a bit of MC rival club drama, club sweet butt drama, and Gwen going hot and cold. That said, the story line was great and the supporting characters are very likeable. There is an HEA and a little hint of what's to come in the next book.

A Great Listen

A really long book that was slow in the beginning but once it gets going you keep wanting to listen to see what is happening next, like the concept of a New Zealand chick moving to the U.S befriending a Ozzy chick there & do well for themselves even tho they both came from money , falling for an MC guy in a smallish town in Cali drama truma is why she's moved there but some of it follows her some new ,a club bunny that won't let go a narly Prez, a Sorrow full MC brother , a little love triangle with the Bf, what more could you want...... Full of action, tears, smart mouths & Alpha Men.. Enjoy :-)
