Summary

Gwen Alexandra does not need a man in her life. Especially not a man who looks like Chris Hemsworth and Joe Manganiello's love child. One wearing leather, riding a Harley, and covered in tattoos.

Gwen can bet every pair of her Manolos that Cade Fletcher is trouble. From the moment she meets him, the attraction sizzles between them. Gwen has a problem when it comes to attractive men in motorcycle clubs. The last one she got involved with almost killed her.

After healing physically, Gwen decides to get a new start in a small town, half a country away from the man who nearly cost her her life. She isn't in town five minutes when she runs into Cade, a man who is too sexy and dangerous for his own good.

She tries to keep away from him, to ignore the attraction between them. But the biker has other ideas; soon she is in way over her head, and her heart and her life are in danger once again.

Contains mature themes.

Good, not great! Not much MC life in this Romance.☹️

This wasn’t the best MC romance I ever read or listened to. Honestly, it’s not even in the top ten. I have this opinion for two reasons. One, I really wish that the book was written from a dual POV. There was several emotional situations that Kade went through that the reader just had to guess about Kade’s feelings. I think knowing what was in Kade’s head and heart would have made for more of a connection with the listener/reader. Second, having Kade’s POV would have allowed for more plot about the actual happenings in the club. The fact that the story was really just on the periphery of club life made the book just a romance, not a MC romance. The story had some slow spots and the narration was fine, I was just in the mood for a MC romance so this was a bit of a let down. - V from Kansas

The storyline just has it all!

OMG!!! Liberty one of the best MC books I have ever read! When I say it's awesome I mean it. I simply discover Making the Cut By sheer luck. I devoured the audiobook like no one's business. Then I bought all the other books in the series. I soon devoured those. Now I have read my fair share of biker books, but Making the Cut is a huge standout. The writing is off the chains extraordinary!! The storyline just has it all! Plus the audiobook is so brilliantly narrated!

Emma Wilder

I was surprised how much I enjoyed the narration by Emma Wilder. The book was well written. It had sex, violence, sad and was funny.

this is a good book

the narrator's accent is awesome. the story is really entertaining. at first the girls obsession with clothes is a bit annoying but ....it fits. kane is a perfect blend of alpha growl and purr.

Making The Cut

So much angst and drama! I was blown away reading this one. I wasn’t quite expecting so much in one book. There is so much from the very start. Loved all the characters, and can’t wait to read all their stories!

Emma Wilder kills it!

The story by Anne Malcolm, grabbed me by the throat and didn't let go! Gwen and Kade had me yelling (internally!) and crying ugly tears. So many characters made up side stories that you where excited to see happens in the rest of the series. The narration by Emma Wilder was awesome. I truly had to make sure it was 1 narrator! I could have sworn Ms. Wilder was from New Zealand 🇳🇿! Her acting was so spot on and full of emotion, it really made this book come to life. The grief that Gwen went through was palpable and brought me to tears. Bravo Emma Wilder, your acting and range is simply amazing.

Enjoyed it

Making The Cut is the first book in the Sons of Templar MC series. The story held my interest until the end. It was raw and graphic , sweet and hilarious and even emotional at times and I could not put it down. I liked the characters. Both Gwen and Cade had that chemistry from the start inspite of Gwen's misgivings. This novel had drama, suspense action, romance and a cast of secondary characters that greatly added to the story. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to all lovers of MC romance. The audiobook version was narrated by Emma Wilder. She had great pace and timing and a pleasant voice. I enjoyed listening to her narrate this novel.

Making the cut

Bikers, a traumatized woman and romance! This story is quite good and it kept me entertained from start to finish.
