Summary

Note: This is the audiobook for the first version of Make Money as a Life Coach (originally published in 2017). It does not include the changes made to the Kindle and paperback versions in 2020.

Imagine if you could start your dream business, work from home, and make a real difference in people's lives. When you become a life coach, all of this is possible.

The authors of Make Money as a Life Coach get it. They know what it’s like to navigate the world of online business and coaching. After considerable learning and several wrong turns, they’ve both gone on to create successful coaching businesses.

Now, they want to help you do the same. Because, here’s what nobody tells you: Becoming a life coach doesn’t have to be difficult. All you need is a phone, an internet connection, and a passion for helping other people.

Yes, there are a lot of steps you can take when learning how to become a life coach. But you don’t have to do all (or many) of them. And you certainly don’t need to do everything when you’re first starting out.

In this book, the authors cut through the noise and show you exactly how to:

  • Identify your ideal coaching niche - so that you feel confident in your offering and become the coach that you were designed to be
  • Define your marketing strategy - to attract a constant stream of your ideal coaching clients
  • Confidently conduct a discovery call - so that you sign your first paying clients as quickly as possible

When you follow the steps in this book, you’ll not only start your business, you’ll also sign your first paying client(s) in as little as 30 days.

Imagine how your life will change when you’re doing work that is purpose-driven and profitable. Work that you are uniquely designed to do. Listening to this audiobook (and taking action) will save you time, money, and your sanity. You don't need to keep trying to figure this out on your own.

Too basic, and terrible story telling

The information was too simple in some cases. Mostly things you can Google in a couple of seconds. Great resource if you are not already going through a certification program. The narrator was terribly dry and made me uncomfortable. I felt like she should only read childrens books.

Meh...it's OK

I didn't expect much, didn't pay much, didn't get much....but it was mildly interesting. There were no surprises here and no major revelations. For a 2 hour listen, it was fine light "reading".

Extremely Helpful

This book gives the basics. Straightforward with no fluff. This book will be my basic guide to setting up my coaching business. I was taught at a young age that a smart man learns from their mistakes but a true genius learns from other people’s mistakes. I feel as if this book lets me learn someone else’s mistakes so I don’t fall in the same trap.

One of the best business books I've ever read.

Yhese authors cover everything you need to know to get started in your coaching business, they leave no stone unturned. I love how clear, direct and comprehensive this book was. If you're thinking of starting a coaching business you have to listen to this book.

Didn't Learn Anything

A lot of general words from an author, who is not experienced enough to teach. Certain bits of advice (like pricing) is just incorrect: for example, you price your product not based on what you want to make, but on what the clients are ready to pay. The narrator with her British accent is pretty charming and convincing.
