Summary
Magic, Mischief, and Kilts!
A modern-day Scottish warlock paranormal romance by New York Times best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow.
Kenneth doesn’t have room for anything in his life beyond his responsibilities as an immortal warlock and a father. Being a single dad is difficult, especially when that toddler is more powerful than his entire magickal family combined. Standing against forces who want nothing more than to harness his daughter’s power takes focus, dedication, and the willingness to put his life on hold. So when the mysterious yet beautiful Andrea appears on his doorstep, he can’t help but distrust her.
For two years, Andrea Breaux has been running from a dangerous supernatural force. She’s learned to stay on the move, to never allow grass to grow under her feet, and to be suspicious of everyone and everything. When she finds herself in a house surrounded by magicks and a powerful child who would rather she not leave, Andrea isn’t sure what to do or if she even wants to go. But staying puts everyone at risk, especially the Scottish hottie in a kilt, Kenneth MacGregor.
Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregors who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love. And Uncle Raibeart.

Humorous, Sexy, Magical and Scottish accents
Such a lovely, fun, sexy and very enjoyable series set around the MacGregor Warlocks. The collection of characters is wonderful with each character adding to the fun, humour and excitement of these books. Each book another MacGregor finds his mate/true love and each story is unique to each brother as well as not being a smooth bed of roses to courting!
I listened to audio version and the narration added to the story especially as a good Scottish accent adding to the sexy nature of the warlocks as well as their charm, magic and humour.
This time we have Kenneth, his daughter and Andrea as warlock magic, phoenix magic and folk magic seek to combine and find a resolution to allow all three to live a harmonious life.
Enter the world of MacGregor clan and prepare to laugh, be surprised and enjoy the magical adventure of love in magical world.

Another amazing Warlock HEA
I absolutely adore this series and this is another reason why. Kenneth is focused on being a father especially since his daughter’s powers are insanely strong. Andrea runs for her own safety and is a little confused on why she doesn’t leave Kenneth’s home. The story captures the emotions so well and the narrator brings everything to life.

A good romance with magic
I think M. M. Pillow managed to create a book where the child is behaving like one, and the story follows well from this main center. I liked the dynamic of the couple, and the story plot. Just an other good story in the Warlocks MacGregor series, with more of the family's antics. I'm addicted to them!.

Magick and Mischief (Warlocks MacGregor #7)

Want to Read
I'm enthralled by the MacGregor Clan series, even this audiobook but it was my least favorite if that makes sense.
The only thing I had a problem with was sometimes I just got confused. I was confused with the portals at first but then my brain sorted it all out. Then again at the end when Trina showed up. My brain still hasn't sorted that part out yet. It is probably just MY brain though.
The story had a sadder & darker tone however humor & Uncle Raibeart's naked arse are sprinkled throughout. Who doesn't love that arse?? The HEA is so unique & unusual that is was refreshing.
This book has it all. A playful, onery, pheonix child, a magickal bear shifting MacGregor dad, a "human" woman scared to death. Not to mention 2 hysterical ladies on Andea's side of the family. It also has a world ending premonition, a phantom, evil ghost twins, a "fox," an "eagle," & a "big kitty" oh my. And least I forget, the want of a 20 foot long hot dog by one silly MacGregor! LOL
One thing I liked the most was that Andrea gave Margareta & Kenneth a piece of her mind without a thought or care of what the repercussions could be.
This is highly recommended even though I was confused. Again, that was probably just MY brain.

Another fabulous addition to the MacGregor series
I just love this series. They are just full of fun and magical mayhem. This book features the long lost brother who turned up in the last book with his rather unconventional daughter. As with the other books it is extremely well written and feature a cast of very likeable characters, especially Uncle Robert who seems to be at the root of most of the mayhem.
Having both the book and the audiobook called me to continue with the story when I ran out of reading time. I truly did not want to put the story down.

Kenneth's Story
This is Kenneth's story. I love the way Michelle weaves a paranormal/fantasy story. All the elements are unique and carefully thought out. It's a delight to read a story where you are genuinely curious about where the next scene will take you! The Macgregor mischief continues where we learn more about Kenneth and Jewel's past. The little girl is certainly a handful and at times I was stressed on behalf of Kenneth and Andrea, Andrea's past also ties into the whole story and it is very well written. It is a romance with a HEA. I absolutely love this series!
The narration and performance is on point as usual and Michael Ferraiuolo certainly takes us into the Macgregor world with a touch of familiarity (for those who have been reading/listening to the books in order).

A PNR that will have you laughing and swooning
What a fun story! Who doesn't love a sexy scottish supernatural being hunk? And this narrator just sweetens the deal with his narration. This is a story I highly suggest checking out on audio. Andrea is running from a supernatural force. She ends up in motel that's not like any she has ever experienced. She meets Kenneth in what she thinks is destressed. Once the truth is revealed it unravels so many things in her life. And it's all connected. Soon she becomes a nanny to a very special little girl being who chose her. She tries to ignore her feelings to the child's father Kenneth. The attraction between them is fierce and it turns out it's something that can't be denied. Get ready for your mind to be blown a few times in this story. What twists! I loved it. And talk about a good romance. Swoon alert! I would definitely like to check out more in the series. This was my first read in the series, but didn't feel lost. The characters are so much fun! A must read for paranormal romance fans.

"In many ways the MacGregors had always been..."
"In many ways the MacGregors had always been the poster children for codependent relationships..."
Kenneth and Jewel were introduced in the previous story, and here they move center stage... and Jewel continues to steal hearts as Kenneth faces the struggles of a single Dad raising a powerful magickal child.
Andrea has spent the past two years running from... she thought she knew what, but now she's starting to question all kinds of things, including the spirit she thought was chasing her.
The Warlocks MacGregor are always fun and full of humor, and this is a prime example of this family offering a laugh out loud adventure as they deal with serious issues, like a child with a terminal condition... unless they find a way to help her, and they are doing everything in their power, everything they can think of, to help her -- just as every ordinary family would.

Phoenix, Phantom, and Magic
In the last book Kisses and Curses, the prodigal son, Kenneth MacGregor returned home with a daughter. This time Kenneth is unable to sneak away in the middle of the night with his daughter, since his mother and his aunt have cast a spell on him.
Andrea Breaux has been running from a malicious spirit after she has failing in sending it into the light. By some unknown reasons, a portal has opened, bringing Andrea to the MacGregors. Since she was there, Andrea was charged as a nanny to Kenneth's daughter, Jewel.
Both Kenneth and Andrea have been on the run. Kenneth is running away to keep his daughter safe and Andrea is running away from an evil spirit that been known to kill.
Although the MacGregors spoiled Jewel, Andrea is the only one who is firm with Jewel's bad behaviors. Andrea is the perfect nanny to teach Jewel, life lessons.
It is also a wonder, with so much pranks from the MacGregors, it is a miracle that the MacGregors would be able to find their significant others without sabotaging each other's dates.
Great ending to show how much power when families united together against a common danger.
I just love the narrator, Michael Ferraiuolo's performance. It is a wonder on how he could provide a distinguish Scottish accent to each of the MacGregors.

Loved It!
I loved this book and so excited to get Kenneth's story. I was fascinated by his very magical phoenix daughter, Jewel. If raising normal human children is hard, a phoenix really requires help. Despite no experience with children, Andrea was the perfect match for them. With some looming danger, this story had me hooked. Michael Ferraiuolo did another wonderful job narrating this audiobook, doing the different characters' voices, and accents.

Magic & Mischief I enjoyed listening to
Book seven in the Warlocks MacGregor series, a well written story that had me laughing. One of the things I found myself laughing at is when Raibeart’s shout came from the tree line. “Retreat! Retreat! Someone stole my kilt.” This is immortal warlock Kenneth, his daughter Jewel and Andrea Breaux, she has been on the run for the last two years from the supernatural Mama Cecile. I enjoyed listening to this story and Michael Ferraiuolo voice as he read the book.

4.5 Stars - Another Great Addition to the Series
Michelle M. Pillow and Michael Ferraiuolo have outdone themselves with this latest installment of the series. The character work and story line were well written and kept me entertained from beginning to end. The narrator brought the story to life and made this as fun to listen to as it was to read.

More Magick
Something is drawing Andrea to the MacGregors. She is not entirely unaware of magic, but this experience is very different and frightening. Somehow, she is drawn through a portal and she meets the very unusual Warlock family. It seems that she is drawn in particular to Jewel and Kenneth. What is the entity behind this, why has it focused on Andrea, and what does it want? This is another interesting adventure with the MacGregors. The focus of this story is Jewel. She is growing up. Kenneth is trying to keep her under control. Andrea shows up and seems to have a way with the girl. The story is non-stop action. There is some danger, the mystery of the specter chasing Andrea, the signature humor of the MacGregor family (especially Uncle Raibert), and, of course, a magical romance. The characters are awesome. In addition to the familiar Warlock family and Andrea, there are Andrea’s grandmother and aunt who are entertaining all by themselves, and a visit from Trina. The ending is a spectacular surprise. Excellent and entertaining narration by Michael Ferraiuolo.

Kenneth and Andrea
Michelle has outdone herself with this fabulous addition to the world of the Warlocks MacGregor Series. I just love visiting these hilarious characters who now feel like friends I have grown to love.
We learn more about the mysterious long-lost MacGregor brother who reappeared in the last book, along with his adorable daughter. I have said many times that I love Railbeart, but is he the one to be trusted to help keep his niece grounded? I know he loves his little Princess but he does spoil her and I certainly wouldn't trust him to take storytime!
Andrea is an interesting character and is the perfect person to help Kenneth and his daughter but everyone has their hands full!
This book has romance, action, and fantasy it is somewhat emotional at times as well as incredibly funny. The plot is great and the storyline is well-paced, and of course, there's a happily ever after.
There is so much more I could say but that would involve spoilers which I don't want to give, but what I will say is this book is my personal favourite.
The narration of this book is wonderfully well done Michael Ferraiuolo is the perfect choice for this series.

Love Found for Long-Lost Son
Long-lost MacGregor son Kenneth re-entered his family's life in the last book, and now this book is his romance. His mom has put him essentially under house arrest because he attempted to leave the family mansion in order to protect his family from the danger his strongly magical child represents, both herself and others who might pursue her. As always with this delightful series, the family dynamic is so much fun, particularly between the male brothers and cousins. They treat each other just as we imagine rambunctious young adult males would. I love the humor, too, especially their zany uncle who steals the scene every time he shows up. Dangerous elements are at play in this book, and I love how the family bands together against the threat. The heroine’s an interesting woman from bayou country with a magical background, though she is not immortal like the MacGregors. She's been struggling with an entity that seems to be pursuing her; she feels she’s been marked for death. The hero's magical little girl is very powerful, yet she is so young she doesn't understand it and certainly cannot control it. Instead, she amuses herself with her own antics and what she causes others to do. As in the other book, there's a hilarious scene where her powers are used against her older male relatives, much to her innocent delight. I loved the very sweet family moment at the end of the book where the heroine is literally chosen to play a very special role in the hero and his daughter's lives. As with every audiobook in this series, I love all the variants of the hot Scot accents we get for all the MacGregors. It certainly adds to the enjoyment of the book. Highly recommended, but you should probably read or listen to the prior books in the series to really understand this family’s complex world and relationships. Plus, they are all wonderful!
