From start to finish it was jam packed with adventures and mystery. I love all the magic and stories to each character and the narration was spot on. loved everything about it.

For me started a bit heavy but by second half of book one was into it and thought it was really good. I think it was the male/female parts that threw me initially.

Really excellent, believable storyline (in as much as, of course, it's fantasy) with each book seamlessly running into the next.

Extremely relatable characters, the subsidiaries as much as the FMC and the MMC.

Also, narrated by two really great voices - even though I'm Scottish and therefore sometimes have difficulties with understanding what's being said if the accent is strongly American, I had no such problems with this series.

I totally recommend this series to anyone who enjoys intelligent paranormal fiction that has both adventure and slow burn (well, medium burn in this case!) romance.

One of the best series I've read.
