An epic dark fantasy where darkness rises—and the courage and commitment of a handful of individuals determine the fate of the world.

In The Magia Trilogy, Birgit Berg weaves a rich, character-driven saga in which loyalty is tested, choices carry consequence, and destiny is anything but certain.

Born of an ancient bloodline, Syribil can transform into a powerful Wolfling through the force of Magia—yet the creature within her has a will of its own. As darkness spreads, she and those bound to her must navigate fear, inner conflict, and moral ambiguity in a world where balance is fragile and control is an illusion.

Dark, immersive, and emotionally charged, this complete trilogy blends fast-paced action with psychological depth and cinematic world-building.

Includes the full trilogy: Lupidae, Drachion, and Ekvilibro.

Over 29 hours of immersive storytelling—perfect for listeners who crave dark fantasy rooted in moral complexity, inner conflict, and unforgettable characters.

Absolutely amazing storytelling by Birgit Berg, spot on narration by Jay Forrester. The characters and their emotions are brought to life just as I had imagined them having read the trilogy earlier. Good pacing and even better worldbuilding made me come back every time, I really enjoyed joining Syribil on her journey.

Truly immersive and full of personality

Birgit Berg has a good writing voice and does dark fantasy well. If you enjoy that sort of the thing, you will have a good time with this. The narrator has a nice voice and good cadance, though he might have improved the experience by varying the amount of gravitas he puts in his sentences a little more.

A fairly straight-forward story, but done well

I took me a little bit longer to get into the story, I think because of al lot of names and other things dat need to be introduced. Once I got the new characters and locations it became a story that has a good pace. Explanation when needed, but not to much.
The story develops on one main story line, with some sidelines.

Full characters and a good story

It has been a while since I last immersed myself in a fantasy novel, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Magia trilogy. The story is compelling, with strong characters, vivid confrontations, and unexpected twists. Birgit Berg creates a rich and dark fantasy world in which tension and emotion come together beautifully. A definite recommendation for anyone who loves getting completely lost in an epic fantasy adventure.

A gripping return to fantasy

This was a slow burne at first but it grew on me as the story bloomed.

The voice was very pleasant to listen too. I could always tell what person was talking.
However i sometimes missed a bit more passion in the highstake moments of the story. So thats why i dont give the voice actor a 5 stars.

For the story; It was good. It feels like the build up to something far greater. Maby a matter of taste but i would have loved a bit more world building and details, but the pacing was very pleasant. I am very curious where this will go in the future and will keep an eye on this writer.
