About this listen

This was a good romantic suspense story set in a small town. There were two scenes that involved spanking. That was fine but, I'm glad it wasn't a big part of the story as it didn't add anything and it felt out of place. There was plenty of romance and suspense to keep me interested and invested in the story. I really liked Maggie but I wasn't mad about Carter who was a little too rude and overbearing from the beginning. The narration was excellent. It will be interesting to read Sam and Shelby's story next.
