Summary

Asher Benson has once again fled to a secluded cabin in the mountains outside of the sleepy town of Arthur's Creek, West Virginia. Government agents surround him day and night, blanketing his entire life in constant surveillance under the guise of keeping him safe.

That facade is shattered when every cell phone in Arthur's Creek rings simultaneously. Anyone who answers the call is driven into a violent, psychotic madness that turns the entire town into a slaughterhouse.

And Ash is caught in the middle of it all.

Intimate and interesting

I like that we see Ash in a place that is meaningful to him, a secluded cabin and a quiet town away from the chaos that was the city he lived in. I felt happy for the man. I like how the story escalated and his idyllic town turned into his nightmare prison. The conflict was genuinely horrific and unnerving, you really threw your punches with that one, Jason, great writing. I take back what I said about Shortround, she adds comedic relief and it suits Ash and his dry humour to play off of it. My apologies, Jason. Thank you for a great read. My one issue would be that I wanted a little more in the peak of the conflict before they were rescued. Aside from that, really good read, man👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
