Story
DS Ewan Striker is the best detective on the force. Unconventional and uncompromising, he is respected and feared in equal amounts. Tag Westland is a rookie. A rich boy who has realised that being a cop is not as glamorous as he first thought. In fact, he has his resignation in his pocket. These two unlikely crime fighters are thrown together, as it becomes apparent that each of their investigations are inextricably linked to something even more evil: a major terrorist attack.

Rick and Des back, BATMAN AND ROBIN !!!
Let me just say, I left a scathing review on book 6 for various reasons mainly aimed at Robert White for breaking my heart at a certain point in book 6 and told him ( as though he reads these reviews) ( but I needed to rant) he should be ashamed of himself and I would never ever pick up / listen or acknowledge him again !!! Sorry that’s how passionate I felt. So after a lot of pondering and bottom lip chewing as the first 5 books were in my top 20. So I took the plunge and listened,
You’ve not been forgiven Mr White or redeemed yourself, but I listened, enjoyed but I’m still not your friend or a super fan 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Amateurs being pros
I loved this series of books and still do but yet another amateur who just so happens to be a near pro able to function at the level of Rick and Dez is just stretching credibility a bit much, why not reintroduce Sellers who was at least a former intel specialist, just a thought

Made to be Broken
Have really enjoyed the full Rick Fuller series. Particularly the character Des …. amusing and deadly! This book was a relatively short tale though. Story lines a bit predictable and underdeveloped, which was not completely unexpected given the short length of the audio book. So a big fan of the series and main characters, and look forward to the next book. Hope it’s a lot longer with much better developed twists and turns!
