Summary
Rick Fuller is a broken man. For over a year, he has spent his waking hours drinking in the seedy bars of Pattaya, tortured by guilt and tormented by what might have been.
That is until the beautiful and enigmatic MI6 agent, Harriet Casey walks into the Cha Cha Saloon with a picture of him on her phone, a computer program stolen from Russian gangsters and a plane ticket back to Manchester, where his old friend and ally Des Cogan is waiting for him.

Great series, did not disappoint.
Latest in series kept up the characters. Always nervous if a writer gets tired at some point but definitely not here. If you’re a fan of Des and Rick, you’ll like this 👍👍

Rick and Des back, BATMAN AND ROBIN !!!
Let me just say, I left a scathing review on book 6 for various reasons mainly aimed at Robert White for breaking my heart at a certain point in book 6 and told him ( as though he reads these reviews) ( but I needed to rant) he should be ashamed of himself and I would never ever pick up / listen or acknowledge him again !!! Sorry that’s how passionate I felt. So after a lot of pondering and bottom lip chewing as the first 5 books were in my top 20. So I took the plunge and listened,
You’ve not been forgiven Mr White or redeemed yourself, but I listened, enjoyed but I’m still not your friend or a super fan 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Brilliant story once again.
I have become obsessed with the Rick Fuller series. Utterly brilliant. A mix of factual information coupled with excellent locational descriptions and fast paced storytelling by an excellent narrator. Absolutely magnificent audiobooks.

Slightly disappointed
I wish the books where slightly longer just under 8 hours isn’t enough for my liking. And as much as I like Nicolas narration I sometimes think his accents are a little bit off and almost comical.

Another good book by Robert White.
This another excellent book, which Rick Fuller leading the way to solve crime, the hard way touched with friendship, cynicism and bit of compassion. The story comes together well and it’s hard sometimes to put the book down, which is certainly helped by the narrator. I only hope young Jack stays with the team. Looking forward to listening to the next book by Robert White.
