Summary

Can't make time for love?

The Shaughnessy brothers have spent the years since their mother's untimely death taking care of each other and trying to make their father proud. The oldest son, Aidan, is hardworking, handsome, successful - and still single. Sure, he'd like to have his own family someday, but who has the time?

She'll show him how to find it.

Zoe Dalton, a stunning designer Aidan meets on one of his construction jobs, has the beauty and heart to make Aidan realize how much he could be missing. But it's not easy to break down walls you've spent years building up. Now there's a major storm bearing down on the North Carolina coast, and it could be catalyst enough to force Aidan and Zoe into some major decisions of the heart.

Amazing story line

Yet again Samantha has grab my attention with this story line. It follows on from The Montgomery Brothers tales with ease. Both family tales are really sensual and at times bring me to tears but in a good way. Thank you Samantha you're books are one of my favourite reads aswell as the audible versions that I have.

Main characters ugh!!

I am not sure which of the 2 main characters I liked less. Talented and successful in heir professional lives, but personally both stunted immature stubborn unlikable people. If she came to work for me I’d have fired her I less than a second with her attitude. He was also so incredibly stuck in what he thought should be. Together an awful obnoxious couple who should not have been an entire book. Save yourself. They are awful people.

Made for Us

Made for Us. Not bad but the storyline was very similar to the Zac Montgomery story. Both treat women off hand, on and off and then quite rudely but the women still fall for these guys in the end. A bit tired of them pleading don't leave me I need you, despite bad behaviour.

It was free and I couldn't even finish it

The story is mediocre at best. The characters are so unbelievably stubborn and argumentative. It might have over looked this if it weren't for the terrible narration. Do not spend money on this.

I Think Not

This book was interesting in that the narrators spoke to each other rather than per chapter. I wish all books were read like this. The female lead was likable as was Julia Motyka’s narration. Unfortunately the male narration was horrible and the male lead was such a jerk through the entire book that I hated him and when he “changed,” which they, of course, all do eventually , I still hated him. Skip this one. It just had too many issues.

Hit all the right notes

A sweet, character-driven romance. It’s sizzling without gratuitous sex. I normally don’t take time to write reviews, but there were so many moments in this novel where the hairs on the back of my neck stood up because it was so good and real. Well done, Samantha Chase. I’ve fallen in love with this series.

Loved it!

This is one of my books I loved to reread. I read the paperback first. I couldn't put it down until I finish it. I was interested in the audio version & was not disappointed. The narration was believably on point. I absolutely love the family & they're show of affection for one another. I'm following this series all the way to the end!! Samantha Chase is now on my favorite author list

Revolted by the Sexual Revolution!

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes, until the illicit sex scenes.

What did you like best about this story?

The characters were likeable and seemed real (very relatable). I would have definitely bought the series, if the sex was more subdued. I already know what a man and woman can do together enjoyably in bed without it being read to me.

What does Christopher Kipiniak and Julia Motyka bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great voices. I simply loved the duality. I get tired of poorly portrayed male/female voices.

Do you think Made for Us needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

There are follow-up books already.

Any additional comments?

I will not be buying the rest of the series, even though the author created an excellent and intriguing storyline.

couldn't do it

Just didn't like the male voice. Couldn't get past 1st chapter. I never got to the story, unfortunately.
