Summary

Der neue Provence-Krimi von Spiegel-Bestsellerautor Pierre Martin um die mutige Ermittlerin Isabelle Bonnet und ihren originellen Assistenten Apollinaire und um den bizarren Mord an einer Nonne.

Vom Rand einer steil abfallenden Klippe, wo man sonst unter hohen Aleppo-Kiefern wunderbar den Sonnenuntergang genießen könnte, bietet sich Isabelle Bonnet ein alles andere als idyllischer Anblick: Unten am Strand liegt eine Frau, unverkennbar in Ordenstracht gewandet. Schnell bestätigt sich, was zu befürchten war: Die Nonne lebt nicht mehr. Offenbar hatte sie bei der Suche nach seltenen Heilpflanzen den Halt verloren und war zu Tode gestürzt. So jedenfalls die (vorschnelle) Schlussfolgerung der Polizei.

Madame le Commissaire jedoch misstraut der ersten Schlussfolgerung ihrer Kollegen - und behält recht. Sie nimmt ihre Ermittlungen in dem einsam, aber malerisch gelegenen Monastère im Massif des Maures auf und hat bald mehr als einen Verdächtigen. Doch wer würde wirklich so weit gehen, eine Nonne zu ermorden?

Netter Krimi wie immer

Mal wieder eine gute und nicht ganz offensichtliche Geschichte aus der Provence. Isabelle und ihr schräger Assistent entzücken immer wieder.
