Clear, concise and thought provoking

This is the kind of class that really help you build up a skill. It is simply brilliant. Theory is precise and concisely explicited including equations and exercices. The exercises are relevant and simple enough that all you have to care about is your understanding of the principles explained during the lectures. In addition, there are even tips on how to use this class, How to define AI system Basic AI techniques, Reinforcement learning, How to build a recommender system Genetic and logic programming also Essentials of reinforcement learning process, Marko decision processes and basic parameters, How to integrate reinforcement learning algorithm using OpenAI Gym, How to integrate Monte Carlo methods for prediction, Monte Carlo tree search, Dynamic programming in Python for policy evaluation, policy iteration and value iteration Temporal difference learning or TD. This is my first experience with Anthony S. Williams and even though, I did not follow other courses because they concern stuff that I already know,I would highly recommend them based on the content of this class and the quality of the teaching. I am even considering, going back to things I know just to revisit them in a pleasant, well-organised, concise way with a new take on it. Thanks you for the effort you put in your courses.

Two book bundle :)

My background in statistics was not good enough for this audible, but the course gave me enough input so that I could catch up by myself. I particularly appreciated the Regular price of only £14.09 for this amazing shared knowledge: The price should be up as the 2 topics are very tough to explain.
NOTE: coding by yourself really helps you understand what is going on!

Been interested

I'm a Mechanical Engineer with average python knowledge. Been interested in AI for a couple years and finally decided I'd take the leap. I did read/listen a few books including Fundamentals of Deep-Learning. But this? This is packed. From topic to topic I could literally feel myself building up to something super useful. Can't stop now though. Had previously tried solving the MountainCar openAI gym problem and couldn't so that leads me to your next course obviously. I'm enjoying this. I don't even feel like I'm in a course, feels like I'm having a friendly conversation and picking useful info while at it.

Good resource on machine learning

Very good course. it has the perfect equilibrium between the conceptual explanations and the code. In addition, its teaching methodology, always encouraging to code by ourselves is the type of methodology that I was looking for. I think it is still a introductory course, but I motivated to continue learning

Never a stone unturned!

I am completed dumbfounded by the 1. quality, 2. rigor, and 3. direct practicality that is provided in this 14£ course. I have been paying over £5000 a course for a graduate applied math degree that is distance and in terms of the quality, I have already had more contact with the teacher of this course than I have with my professor for the last 3 months (and I just started the course 1 day ago), alongside if the content were to have more simple math proofs, this course could easily be a graduate level math class with industry level examples. I really don't think I can properly explain how good of a deal this is. Cough up the £14.09 and learn from the grandmaster (Anthony Williams), you will not be disappointed.

Worth every penny I paid

Good examples and the material order is very good. I think, that sometimes, it is better to lead us to the final equation in some steps and not just write it. Makes it easy to understand.

Highly Appreciated!

I appreciate the depth and inclusion of details. an excellent introduction to Reinforcement Learning and with useful python examples. Looking forward to Deep RL.

With intuitive approach.

I've taken several of Anthony's courses already, and he has hit another one out of the park with this course. I'm coming from a background in neuroscience, so I am already acquainted with many of the ideas of reinforcement learning, but his style and choice of examples is doing wonders to get my mind turning again.

Must take course

A beautiful systematic course. Must take course for any RL beginner. The coding exercises are really good. I find it little difficult to find the links in the mathematical explanations but after listening the book by Anthony it was clear.

Best on Audible

I have tried some other AI courses on Audible but they all gloss over the math and it makes it seem like they have a surface level understanding of what is actually going on. In this course it is clear The Lazy Programmer knows the math behind the algorithms and does a good job at setting up the building blocks so that by the time you see Q-Learning at the bundle you will get Different artificial intelligence approaches and Types of fundamental machine learning algorithms in comparison to reinforcement learning goals and why it was important to first learn about multi armed bandit, MC, TD, etc. first. I'm also a huge fan of coding things by myself as I've done courses with Anthony S. Williams with "Reinforcement Learning with Python in 2018" in the past and that can be harder to actually understand since you might not see how the code ties in. Definitely would recommend.

Everything is clear

I have learned epsilon-greedy and UCB1. It prooved me I had very wrong idea about what RL is. My goal is to get to DL in RL and do some learning robots.

Understanding the whole idea of AI

Best introductory course on Reinforcement Learning you could ever find here. Be warned though that without an advanced knowledge of probability you won't get the most out of this course. The Genetic and logic programming also recommender system that forms the basis of Reinforcement Learning is the key to understanding the whole idea of AI

Helped me be more natural

Yes, I know a lot about the math and theory but I am primarily an R user so the Python part will be new. That said, I really like how the instructor lays out the topic and the examples he uses. It will help me be more natural when I describe my project to others (including my professor).

Many algorithms to implement

This is a really pratical course with many algorithms to implement. It's really helps me know more about the implementation details in reinforcement learning!

Deep diving course

It is a very deep diving course, where one would need prerequisites in good python programming skill (I don't have). Further, the author offers many lectures from the basics up to toplevel skills, as I learned from the appendix, so it is highly recommended to follow the learning path.

Right material to lay a foundation

Very thorough introduction and the right material to lay a foundation for further learning about RL

Strengthen NOW!

Even though I'd taken college courses on all the prerequisites of this course (probability, calculus etc), I realised that my foundations weren't strong enough. I'm glad that I got to know what to strengthen after taking this course!

Highly recommended

Great course! Very deep and thorough, and probably the most important of all - it forces you to apply what you learn and truly understand it. Highly recommended (!!!) for everyone serious about learning RL.

Clear and concise.

Great course to start learning about these things. Clear and concise. What it lacks are references to source material for those who want to go a little bit deeper in understanding RL
