great story the development of the magic. happiness along with sadness. some of the characters fed of each other, good and bad.

I really did enjoy the series. Though a few parts had me cring. areas where they would repeat actions. "The water tasted cold as the water was gulped down" or "The green grass looked inviting as he laid down on the grass". (not exact from story but examples). The reader took some getting used too, they end story's on a "high" mostly. Sometimes a "low". you will understand when you listen. Overall though its an enjoyable series and worth a listen if you like fantasy based young heros with a poor past.
