Summary

She can't remember her past. He wishes he could forget his.

Nina only has the vaguest memories of who she is or why two men tried to kill her one terrifying night. All she knows is how quickly she's falling in love with her rescuer - a man with secrets of his own. With her, he's kind, gentle, and fun - but there's a ferocious, animal side to Boone and the group of Special Forces vets he shares an exclusive seaside estate with. Can Boone help her uncover the past before the killers catch up with her? Or will an unexpected twist of fate steal her only chance at true love?

If fate were to come knocking on the door of Boone Hawthorne's beach bungalow, he'd shove it right back into the sea - especially if it started whispering any nonsense about destined mates. But one night, a woman washes up on his private stretch of beach. Before the wolf shifter knows it, he's breaking every personal rule for her and making promises he's not sure he can keep. Investigating Nina's past means crossing paths with a powerful archenemy, cutthroat criminals, and a ruthlessly selfish ex-lover who will stop at nothing to get Boone back in her bed. Can he solve the mystery of Nina's identity while protecting her - without risking his own heart?

Lure of the wolf

Format: audiobook
It looks like fate is bringing together mystical stones and along with them, mates for a mixed group of ex military shifters.
This is Boone’s story.
When Nina washes up on his beach with no memory of who she is Boone is immediately drawn to her, his wolf insists she’s their mate but Boone has been burnt by that before. One thing he does know is that Nina’s life is in danger and he’ll do ANYTHING to protect her.
This is a fun enjoyable and at times thrilling read. The characters are lovable and the internal struggle the Alpha males have with their inner animals is amusing. Cruz intrigues me I’m looking forward to his story.

Wolf Boone’s Destiny Washes Up On Shore

Nina is in the water, someone is trying to kill her..she doesn’t know who. She washes up on shire and a kind and warm reassuring voice keeps telling her she’ll be fine..she doesn’t know who it is..she doesn’t remember much other than her first name.
Boone found the girl on the beach by his bungalow ..hurt, not remembering much...who is she and why does he and his wolf react to her.
I love the conversations Boone and his wolf have in his head. The wolf is simple, uncomplicated and fully emotional..Boone’s human half tries to be logical and they have discussions all the time..They Are Great!
Once finding your destined mate, especially after being burnt by a woman before he thought was his mate makes this a struggle for Boone.
There are twists and turns, unexpected surprises that keep the story interesting and flowing. The narrator is perfect and does an incredible job with the characters and the storyline. So hard to stop listening!
You can’t help but love the shifters, their mates and hate the bad guys!
Fantastic series..YOU SHOULD TRY ONE IF YOU LIKE PARANORMAL ROMANCE!

Great story

Nina washes up on shore, with no past memory, after surviving a murder attempt. She barely remembers she was on a boat and tossed off of it and the name of the boat began with the letter A. Boone finds her when she washes up on shore near a stretch of beach near his bungalow. I loved being part of their lives for a short while. Boone was great and very patient with her. His wolf knew she was their mate. Both of their exes were bad news, especially Boone's who was a witch. Nina's ex was just filled with greed. I love that in Ms Lowe's books, good trumps evil and you can't help but cheer! The two supporting characters, Cruz and Hunter, served with Boone. They were awesome and like brothers to him. As with Ms Lowe's other series, each book is better than the last pulling you in so that you are invested in finding out about the other characters. I absolutely love this series and couldn't recommend it highly enough. I love the decision the group made, Silas too sort of. The narrator continues to do a great job. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

LOTS OF EXCITEMENT KEPT SECRET FROM THE HUMANS❣

Wolves, tiger, owl, pretty police woman and dragons, would you like to be a human waking up amongst shifters?
I really enjoyed this second installment in the lure series. The good thing is that it starts off with a woman that you can't help but empathize with and you really get to connect with her before she gets involved with our heroes, oh and those not so hero types! The plot is never predictable and keeps you wanting to read till the end. When you do reach the finish there is an offer of free extra unpublished chapters. The narrator does such a wonderful job you forget about her and the story just sweeps you away.
Recommend reading.💕

Lurevof a great listen

This is book two in the series. This story is about Wolf . Book 1 was about a dragon. This can be listened as a stand alone.

Heroine is Nina. Hero is Boone.

This story starts off with a bang .
Someone wants Nina dead so they thought to do it easy , just throw her overboard, there is no way she can survive, but luck is on her side . Nina survived and landed on a beach ,,,,,, there is one thing , she doesn’t remember anything.... how she got there and who she is . Boone saves her . Taking one look at Nina and Boone knows they are mates . Their is one problem , there rules for the estate and having a human on it is a big no no . But Boone will do everything to jog her memory and protect her . Boone decides to take her around on his motorcycle, as they go around some places Nina gets some glimpses of some memory. Nina finds out she’s entitled to some money, could that be the reason someone wants to do her in .

Kelsey is great doing book 2 . Her voice is strong, clear and smooth

Howling good read!

This was a great shifter read. So far I am really enjoying this series of books, and can not wait to go on to the third book in the series. Great love scenes, and all the character personalities are such that you can't wait to learn more about each individual in the book. Thanks for the good read!

:)

Would you consider the audio edition of Lure of the Wolf to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version

Have you listened to any of Kelsey Osborne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, right on par with her other performances

Any additional comments?

I enjoy listening to Anna Lowe's stories to and from work. She has such great paranormal romances! No worry you do not have to have listened/read the first book in order to follow the story of Nina and Boone. Suspenseful and dramatic, Nina has washed ashore Boone's beach. Memories allude her. Boone has loved and lost who he believed his fated mate. The tension building between the two is great and I enjoyed listening to how their story played out. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of Lure of Wolf provided by the author.

Great Story, Great Series

This is the second book in a series which you can most certainly listen to as a standalone. The story is really well written and grabs your attention from the opening words. The writing style is really good as you would expect from this talented author. It is set in the same timeline and has some of the same character as book one but is a totally different story.

Boon is a wolf Shifter who has been hurt before by someone he thought was his fated mate. He is now not too sure he can trust his wolf when it tells him that Nina is their mate. Nina has lost her memory and is washed up on their private beach. Nina is drawn to and trusts Boon to save her from her problems. The chemistry between them is fantastic and their story is exciting and touching at the same time.

The chemistry between Boon and Nina is so palpable you can almost feel it. They are so good together and when an old enemy of Boon's threatens Nina there is no stopping him.

I love the differences between the members of the "pack" and look forward to finding out how the tiger, the bear and the remaining dragon find their own fated mates. It is also good that two of "the life stones" are together giving them more power and strength. Who will bring the earth stone, the water stone and the wind stone?

I think that the narrator, Kelsey Osborne, is so very good she get's the voices just right and brings each one of the characters to life.
