Story
You know how people say you can never believe what you read on the interwebs? That a hot guy online is probably a creeper with a beer gut and a shoe fetish, not the sexy beast he pretends to be? So I had no clue that the anonymous blogger who contacted my law firm about his naughty website would be droolworthy in real life. Not that I'm interested in him in that way. Attorneys can't go around sleeping with their clients. Not even if he is the most beautiful man I've ever met and so ridiculously smart he makes my nerdy-girl heart sigh.

Story
"Once in a while right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale." I saw that quote about fairy tales embroidered on a decorative pillow at a home decorating store. Honestly, it pissed me off. Retail propaganda aimed to promote sales when any single girl in the city could tell them they'd sell more if they'd offer Keep Your Pants On, Asshole instead. But it's fine. I don't have room for decorative pillows anyway. And I don't have time for distractions. Which is why I'm ignoring the distraction staring at me right now.

Story
My name is Cassidy Porter.... My father, Paul Isaac Porter, was convicted 20 years ago for the brutal murder of a dozen innocent girls. Though I was only eight years old at the time, I am aware-every day of my life-that I am his child, his only son. To protect the world from the poison in my veins, I live a quiet life, off the grid, away from humanity. I promised myself, and my mother, not to infect innocent lives with the darkness that swirls within me, waiting to make itself known. It's a promise I would have kept...if Brynn Cadogan hadn't stumbled into my life.

But when the offer of a lifetime comes in from an arrogant idiot she's spent the last decade dreaming about pushing in the way of a moving bus, Jasmine might have to reconsider everything.

Story
Nothing good comes after the third date. Date three is the crucial point when things get real, which is exactly why I bounce out the door, twiddling my fingers at whatever poor boy I've left behind. Because, if I stick around, one of three things will happen: he'll profess his undying love, he'll get weird and stalky, or I'll go crazy. Like, Sid and Nancy crazy. Like, chase-him-through-the-streets-begging-him-to-love-me crazy. Seriously, it's better for everyone this way.

She's everything I want, and she can never be mine. I thought my heart was too mangled to love. I thought my soul was too sullied to touch something so pure. I thought I knew myself. But the truth is that it's all a lie, and she's the only one who can save me from myself. But I don't deserve her. And she can never be mine, no matter how much I need her. Best-selling author Staci Hart brings you an addictive romantic mythology series where love is the ultimate game, and Aphrodite always wins.

Story
I was warned about Tristan Cole. "Stay away from him," people said. "He's cruel." "He's cold." "He's damaged." It's easy to judge a man because of his past. To look at Tristan and see a monster. But I couldn't do that. I had to accept the wreckage that lived inside of him, because it also lived inside of me.
Summary
Beautifully written, poignant, and so sexy by USA Today best-selling author Lex Martin
How do you know whether you can trust someone?
Maggie Washington is used to relying on herself. Growing up in Iowa, her wild curls and parents who dumped her on her grandmother made it so she's never fit in. Skeptical of other people's motives, she's always been the fling or the friend. Looking to define her life after college, she's thrilled when she scores a choice summer job working in Yosemite National Park restoring habitat.
Court Thompson is a gorgeous (and bearded) forest ranger with a love-em and leave-em reputation. When he shows interest in her, she's torn. Even though she's flattered by his attention, she doubts his sincerity - and her ability to get out of the friend-zone.
Will Court be able to coax Maggie into trusting him that he's for real? Or after the summer of s'mores and skinny dipping, will he let her down like everybody else?

A romantic adventure
Maggie is trying to make sense of her life as she starts an adventure in Yosemite. She has made all men friends, to avoid ever being hurt again. Although the men show an interest, Maggie pushes them away. She is unsure what she wants, so focusing on botany is easier. In walks Court and Maggie takes a second look. Court instantly is attracted to Maggie. He slowly takes her to experience different things about Yosemite. As Maggie let's her hair down, twist and turns make her second guess herself.
The description of Yosemite is amazing. I now want to take a trip there to see it for myself. As Yosemite is being described, you can actually envision the scene and it is beautiful.
Tor Thom and Charley Ongel narrate this story with such chemistry that you can senae the tensions, attractions and all emotions of the characters. Each character is narrated as I would have imagined them to be. Tor Thom's barritone voice is such a compliment to Charley Ongel's sweet voice. They made this story come alive.
I would highly recommend Lumbersexual.

Visually beautiful story
Leslie McAdams always catches my attention with her self realization stories. This visually beautiful book takes us to Yosemite and through Maggie's journey to find herself. When Maggie comes to work for the summer, she plans on using her degree in botany and try to figure out what she wants to do with her life. She did not realize she may have found her calling and a handsome Park Ranger to warm her bed! I always enjoy McAdams writings, the paths she has her characters take are real and engaging. This one is particularly fun, not only for the relationship between Maggie and Court, but the visual of Yosemite as well as the fun these two have on their treks. Nothing like a good s'more and cheez-its to get you through(so much better than the squirrel, don't think I could stomach that!). Learning who she is, and discovering her path is not an easy task, and Maggie comes through the summer with a new outlook on her future. Truly a beautiful story.
Brought to life by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel, the book becomes a movie in your mind. With the incredible scenery and wonderful story, it is easy to see it with their performance. Each character portrayed has a specific voice and given it's own disposition. I love this team, you can feel the sparks fly when they narrate, always a pleasure to listen to.

What an Adventure!
The descriptions of Yosemite pulled me into this book by Leslie McAdam. The imagery was spectacular. I loved how the author described Yosemite as a combination between amusement park and nature. I found this book to be fun, steamy, humorous, and heartwarming all at the same time. The narrators, Tor Thom and Charley Ongel have such great chemistry in this book. I love how the tension, lust, and sparks are felt with this listen. Maggie and Court are the two main characters in this book who come to major self realizations. I will definitely listen to more books by the author and narrators.

Court is a character you are immediately intrigued by and boy is Maggie intrigued. But what I loved was so was Court, Maggie doesn’t see it… At least not at first.
Maggie’s fear of height, well I can relate. I think what I loved was that Court understands but shows her these incredible views but is also aware of her fear.
“Other people can check a single box. Not me. Guess I’m just trying to find my box.” - Maggie
Court really got her to think about what she wanted and even if she didn’t realize it right away. He helped her become the true Maggie. I kind of loved that.
‘His compliments nudged open a small place in my heart, and I smiled at him, grateful.’ – Maggie’s thoughts.
We need to seriously just take a minute and appreciate Court and all his physique… Sigh the way she describes him damn it’s such a clear picture in my mind. Is it wrong I want my hubby to grow a beard? Like RIGHT NOW... Giggles... Seriously…
This thought I kind of feel like could go both ways he saw her, but she saw him too.
‘But he also opened me up and made me find myself. He saw me, he made me see myself.’ – Maggie’s thoughts
Leslie can also make you like the second-hand characters just as much as the main ones. Ian and Matt are guys I would like to chill with. Ian is just the right amount of comic relief. And the girls are pretty awesome too.
I enjoyed the narration, Court's voice is lush and delicious, and Maggie’s voice is how I thought of her in my head. Though sometimes I feel like the narrator overdoes it. But you can get over that.

Who knew a summer job could be such fun!
Maggie the female character has trust issues, raised by her grandmother and parents who are still deciding what to do with there lives you probably would to! So when she meets Court, the manwhore -ParkRanger that takes her breathe away in the beautiful Yosemite park and he wants you, at least for the summer? Why not, this is only a summer job, come fall she would be gone, and he can go back to Amanda, like she says “he always comes back to me”.
This novella would be excellent on an excursion to the beach or a rainy afternoon listen or read. I was given this sweet, funny and sexy story as a gift from the narrators Tor Thom and Charley Ongel, who did a fantastic job and of course the author Leslie McAdams thank you all.
PS, loved the skinny dipping scene, it shows Maggie coming out of her shell!
