Summary

It drives my dad nuts I'm such a Goody-Two-Shoes, but the fact that I'm a virgin makes smoke pour from his ears. See, I'm determined to save myself for love, but Daddy dear, more commonly known as Lucifer, just wants me to stop being an embarrassment. Would it kill you to sin a little?

Maybe he'll get his wish, because I met an intriguing hunk last night in my bar. Could he be the one? He certainly melts my panties like marshmallows over the coals of Hell, but do I dare trust him? My last boyfriend thought he'd gain infamy by killing me. He's infamous all right. Dad had him mounted on a wall, his version of modern art, titled, "Touch My Baby Girl and Die".

My love life isn't the only thing I've got to worry about. There's someone threatening the denizens of Hell, and while my daddy says to not worry my pretty little head about it, I am involved because whoever is behind the attacks keeps coming after me.

Bring it. I'm not afraid.

Insider's Daughter

Well this book was really funny almost from the beginning, but it shows that daddy's little girl will always have daddy under her thumb, absolutely brilliant loved it.

Lucifer's Daughter

This is a funny take on a girl who has all the opposite pressure on her from her Father. The naration by Rebecca Estella was easy to listen to and her characters easy to follow, great story all round.

A great story with a lovely audio

The audio is clear as a bell and the narrator has a lovely tone of voice, plenty of expression and a pleasure to listen to

The story is great, with a kickass heroine and moody bad boy hero, I am excited to resd/listen to book two in the series

Lucifer has a defying daughter - the was so funny

Muriel was such a hoot to get to know. A goodie-two-shoes that her father, Satan, wants to have her muddied up - just do some bad things here or there, even if its a little lie. Or just to lose her V-card. Lucifer is so funny trying to convince her to sin a bit - he is trying to be such a good dad.
But Muriel just isn't wired that way. She wants to love a guy before she just loses that card of hers. And she can kick the butt with the best of demons out there. Well dad being Lucifer means you need to learn how to protect yourself, especially while living in hell. She has sisters that are succubi's (and one of them is named Bambi).
Auric walks into her bar with his friends and she just like-likes him. But he ask many questions and Muriel answers them quite honestly, with a bit of a stretch. Her attraction for Auric grows. But she needs to find out what this brooding Alpha male is after.
Lets find out what this male is after and what will the outcome be.
I totally enjoyed this book and can't wait to find out what happens in the next installment.

Sounds like Robyn Petermans Hell on Heals series

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

This reminded me of the plot to one of Robyn Petermans books that is why i picked it..it is VERY similar.

Did Rebecca Estrella do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

The narrator is ok..

Siri reading a Teen Angst book

The pillar of the plot was the main character's virginity and how committed she was to losing it in a particular way. the narration sounded like the digital voice from the 90s.

Should have been great.....but missed the mark

There was just not enough character development.

The whole storyline hinged on virginity and little else, which is never that interesting. I just don’t get why its such a big deal, I mean we are literally being entertained by a story that focuses on how much a woman manages to deny herself sexual satisfaction with a man, that’s not entertaining, that’s just a bit sad.

I don’t get the hero either - he says nothing, does nothing and doesn’t share anything about himself for most of the book. Of course the heroine falls for him, he’s hot and apparently that’s enough. I think the author tried to redeem the hero by making out he was ‘protective’, but that was just annoying, the heroine told him repeatedly she didn’t need or want him to protect her. He didn’t respect her enough to listen, so he became her protector.

Pretty disappointed in the storyline.

Great to listen to

This was a great story to listen to. Muriel was just wanting to live her life the way she wanted to.

Great concept, ruined by all the sex

This had the potential to be a great series. The story line is a great concept, but the book isn't that big and its filled with sex. I read a book for the story, and a bit of sex is fine. But I don't need to read about every climax she has. It's not needed.

I didn't like this one.

Sorry, I couldn't finish this book. Not up to Eve's normal standards. I really love her books, but this one isn't one of them.

Good but a little slow

I thought this was pretty good but slow. There are a lot of side characters that you think will play a part in the story but they don’t. I wasn’t interested enough to continue to book 2.

This book is ridiculous

This... was the most stupid stereotypical book I’ve ever graced in my library. And not a good stereotypical. It was the “OMG I’m a goody good virgins who just so happen to meet the big strong manly man that will make my demon daddy proud now I can live up to be a bad bad girl”. Ugh. This makes women sound terrible. The main girl is vulgar and sweet but in the “the author was having a seizure writing and didn’t know how women act” kind of way. Note to author - women do NOT act like this. Women can be nice to other women and not try to steal other women’s husbands so they can confirm her boobs are still sexy. Got to chapter 3 and deleted. Honestly the most ridiculous book.

narrator flattens it out terribly

Had to quit listening--the narrator was flattening it out so badly. Going to wait for it to come out in kindle unlimited and then try with text-to-speech.

Welcome To Hell offshoot is terrific! Much better narrator!
