Summary

Lt. Reilly is back. He took the job that Mitchell offered him in the Military Investigations office on New Harmony, got his commission reinstated, and finally had a chance to figure out his relationship with Kayla. Yet one of his cases turned out to be much, much bigger than he expected it to be. He and Mitchell soon find themselves in the middle of a black-ops cover-up, intergalactic conspiracy, and the beginnings of a new war that threatens to rip the Alliance apart from within.

A great Sci-Fi story

Overall I enjoyed this book, the characters are like able, the story is paced nicely with the story telling broken up with action scenes. The story had enough twists in it to keep you guessing all the way through and the narration was done to a high standard. I was given a free copy of this audiobook (to provide a non-biased review) meaning that I have gone straight to book 2 missing out book 1, this did not take away from the story at all and I am going to go back now and give that a go too!
