Loved the little of it there was. I wish it would have continued with the capture of the cook and why he tried to poison Angelique. But I'm sure it's all in the next book.
This is the 3rd book of this series and I loved every second of it so far. And the narrator is very good. I normally prefer male narrators if they can do a female voice properly, but Julie Maisey is very good. Now on to the next one.

Have loved this series. Agree with others, wish it was longer. Have listened more than once. Great author and Julie Is the best narrator I’ve listened to in ages, really enjoy the way she brings these stories to life. Even better these books are free as part of the audible plus catalogue

I enjoyed the book...but what most impressed me was the narrator for this whole series. Excellent accents; emotional yet not overdone.
