Stassia fell in love at 10 years old. Her mother marries Stassia's crush. Her love then turns to anger and she makes her step dads life very difficult. Stassias mum dies and then they are left alone to deal with feelings abd emotions. The story is written well exploring taboo love.

What an amazing book
This book is so well written, QB Tyler tackled this taboo subject with such care and sensitivity I couldn't help but root for them to be together. The way she wrote it was interesting and sweet, a real love story with a lot ~A LOT ~ of steamy hot scenes too. Tyler wrote in away the sexual tension built slowly and gradually to just explode over a few scorching chapters around half way through the book. This my first QB Tyler book and it won't be the last.

When Stasia’s mother dies suddenly she is left with the stepfather she’s had a crush on since she was 10. Even though for the past several years her animosity towards him has grown she doesn’t really hate him it’s her way of protecting herself . When their grief turns to passion for each other they tell themselves it’s just for a few days and when they get home things will return to normal . This is my first book by QB Tyler and to say I loved Dominic and Stasi’s story would be an understatement it’s a book I will listen to again.

The female narrator sounds about 35 but plays an 18 year old, it doesn’t feel right, it takes me out of the story. Not a great fan of the male narrator either, neither of them sound right for the personalities of the characters. I have almost all of Q B Tyler’s books. This is the only one I have an issue with.
