I came in at the end...

Apparently, this book was the last in the series. Even with knowing that and not having read the earlier books, I enjoyed this audiobook.

The story between the main characters Dmitri and Raphael, was complicated and loving.

I loved how the characters were built up and how side characters built the storyline and added to it.

Great story and the narration was perfect, precise and I didn't have to speed it up as I do with most audios on audible. Made a nice change.

I really, really enjoyed this audiobook. Raphael has been a complex character throughout this series and it was so worthwhile to finally get his entire story, and Dmitri was perfect for him. My only gripe is that I wanted a bit more time with them together!! They just fit so well.

Definitely listen or read this series, each book is fantastic!

The love they have for each other was able to withstand the horrors of their past to propel them into a brilliantly shining future.

This is On The Market Book 5 Love him Desperate by E M Lindsey.

This book is the culmination of this series. It is Dmitiri and Raphael's story.

Raphael was introduced in the last book as a friend of Lorenzo. He works for Jayden , who is Dmitir's uncle.

Both men are flawed and have had difficlt lives. This story tells their path to true love.

It has a recurring character called Kyle who you will come to hate in this book.

E M Denning really got into the psyche of a CP sufferer and you really felt for Raphael.

I liked Dmitri but felt sometimes like he was a bit of a wet blanket.

It had charachters from previous stories and this was a welcome break from the angst of Raphael's condition.
It's a shame this is the last book as I would love to seen how Levi and James got together

It was again narrated by Nick Hudson who did a fantastic job with the German accent.

I am SO not ready for this series to be done, but what a book to go out on. I think I’ve finally nailed down what I love so much about how Lindsey has written this series. It’s slightly melancholy at times, there’s a lot of rough edges (not in the writing itself but the rough edges of life affect the characters), it’s real and it’s gritty; but through it all there’s such a strong sense of hope that you can always feel in the way Lindsey writes. Dimitri and Raphael didn’t get together as quickly as some others in this series, but that wouldn’t have worked for them. They each had their own demons to fight, and it had to be done on their own, which made it all the sweeter when they finally turned to each other. I will truly miss Cherry Creek and all its residents, and know this a series I will revisit in the future.
