Summary

Secrets never keep for long.

After the sudden death of her husband, Silva struggles to find her way in a life that is now so different than the one she envisioned for herself. When offered the opportunity to start over in a new territory, she seizes the chance. But in order to truly start anew, Silva knows she must come clean about a secret she has held for far too long. When she arrives at her new home, Silva is met by a man she was certain she would never see again, a man that threatens to heal the heart she was certain would never be whole again.

Every day since meeting her, Marcus has thought of the mysterious woman he met at his best friend’s wedding, although it never occurred to him that she would end up as a resident of his castle. Having her near him every day is both a blessing and a curse. He wants nothing more than to win her love, but her grieving heart keeps him at bay. He knows that only time can heal her, and he’s resolved to wait as long as it takes, for one day he knows she will love him.

But his love for her may not be enough, for there is another with a secret that could tear her away from him forever. Will Silva be able to move on from her past grief and heartbreak, or will her world be turned upside down once again?

Fantastic

I loved Silva and Marcus's story! I also loved that Bethany included diverse characters. This book was filled, magic, humor, and love. It was great to revisit with the characters of previous books. My journey with Morna's Legacy started with Bri and her story. And I have enjoyed the ride with each book and this one was no exception. It was a true pleasure to listen to.

What destiny is it???

This book wraps up the story of the Isle of the Eight Lairds. But I do not believe it will be the last we see of these characters. This is one of the few stories where I think it is much better if you read/listen to the other books in the series. It is also another wonderful story and brings closure to the open stories within this series. A lot of love, happiness, and working together to defeat the evil witch. I highly recommend this book and the series.

Another great story

Marcus and Silva met and had a romantic encounter at a wedding of their friends in the 1700's. They didn't exchange any names or any other information. Silva has been widowed and is just now beginning to come to terms with it. She travels to start over and just so happens to end up where Marcus is. They still feel the pull to each other even though they both have secrets. I liked this story that continues the Isle of Eight and how they're trying to figure all the mysteries out. This story doesn't disappoint. Lily Collingwood brings the story to life with her accents. I hope there will be more of these stories from Bethany Claire.

Book 11✅

Book 11 doesn’t disappoint! Continuing with the story of the Isle of Eight, another love grows, and one is returned after years of being apart. A wonderful story that will leave you ready for the next.

Love, Fate, and Destiny

Love Beyond Destiny is another chapter in Morna's Legacy. Last the readers/listeners left off was that Machara is imprisoned. One of the eight lairds sacrificed himself to save Kate. I was hoping it would be his story next but it is a bit too soon.

Marcus is adjusting to 1651. His one night stand at his best friend, Kate's wedding, showed up at the Isle of the Eight Lairds. He discovered that Silva was grieving for her husband and was trying to move on.

There is so much happening in this story. There is someone from Silva passed that I wanted to know and than there is one of the lairds that I want to know if he will ever escape from the fae world.

There isn't enough information about defeating Machara except that the women who are meant to be in 1651, did defeated her. It would also be interesting to hear the aftermath of Nicholas and Freya's reunion.

The one thing I do know is I'm already looking forward to the next book in Morna's Legacy.

The narrator, Lily Collingwood is still at her best for this series. I can't wait to listen to her voice again.

I was given this audiobook by the author. I have volunteered to write an unbiased review for this book. I was not compensated or influence in any way on writing this review.

Another winner!

I thoroughly enjoyed another in Bethany’s series. She writes and Lily performs, both in such a way that regardless of what you’re doing while listening to her books you travel back and forth in time in a movie in your head. I’ve recommended Bethany’s books to a few people because they are well written and entertaining. Get it today and experience it for yourself!

Lily Collingworth and Bethany Claire hit another one out of the park

I love hearing Lily read Bethany’s books. It amazes me how she can change her voice to be a different character. Love Beyond Destiny ties up some of the mysteries but leaves just enough loose ends to continue the series. I loved this book and can’t wait for the next.

listening as good as reading.

Love the story line. Ross, Silva and Marcus make a great love triangle. Morna is involved as always. Bad witch gone. Good guys free. All saved by a group of women!
