Story
I didn't mean to star in a sex tape, okay? It was just one of those unexplainable things. Like Stonehenge, Police Academy 2, and morning glory clouds. It just happened. Now, my ball-busting father is sentencing me to six months of celibacy, sobriety, and morbid boredom under the roof of Boston's nerdiest girl alive, Sailor Brennan. The virginal archer is supposed to babysit my ass while I learn to take my place in Royal Pipelines, my family's oil company. Little does she know, that's not the only pipe I'll be laying....

Story
I once read that every warrior hoped an honorable death would find him. I always went looking for mine, but not even the Reaper wanted me. I was trained to kill. I was trained to not ask why. To take orders and just march in line. Hoo-ah motherf--ker. Life or death. Ride or die. And I'm not only talking about the military. I'm talking about the life that led me on the road to nowhere. My life. I fought for my brothers. I fought for my family. I fought for my country. And I fought for her...Never realizing I might die for them too.

Story
It was complicated, it was also just the beginning. A decision. A simple choice. There is always that one moment in life where things could have been different. That one moment where you could have chosen a path that would lead you down a certain road. A different life. It was easier to pretend that we were still best friends, and that she was my girl and I was her boy. Pretending was better than knowing the truth. I. Ruined. Us. I had her. I lost her. I love her. All I did was complicate us.

Grief and loneliness have been my closest friends for a year, and a change is long overdue. A walk down memory lane in my hometown sounds ideal to start letting go of this never-ending sorrow and try to meet again the carefree, happy girl I once was. But back in Texas, it's not that girl I meet first. Nate Bowers, president of the Chaos Chasers, is not a saint. He says so himself. As a pragmatic teacher, I should flee from that handsome man as fast as I can. But behind his hard exterior and primitive side, all I see in his brown eyes is a caring, gentle man he shows only to me.

I can feel it. I wake up in the middle of the night freaked out of my mind, paranoid a stranger is there. My skin prickles every time I leave my house, because I know someone is following me. I’m afraid. Alone. And there’s only one person left to turn to. The stepbrother I never met. He’s the president of a notorious motorcycle club and exactly the kind of person I need to protect me - cutthroat, cocky, dangerous. Little did I know, hot as all holy hell Ky Parish, downright loathes me. You know what they say - there's a fine line between love and hate. And I'm walking it.

Story
I didn't know darkness and evil lurked inside me until I had to murder to survive, forced to become my own worst enemy. With so much blood on my hands, I was surprised I could still see my own skin. I killed, I tortured, I loved. I played God while I was rotting in a fiery inferno. Thriving on control and power was the only way I knew how to live. There were no other options. If you weren't my friend, you were my foe. If you weren't with me, you were against me - traitors, as I called them. There were no imaginary lines. I'd crossed them all.
Summary
In a world where I had no say, violence became my refuge. Nothing else mattered, not even my own life, until her: Skyler Bell.
It all started the first time I heard that voice, giving me hope for tomorrow. My first love was everything all at once - consuming, maddening, forever, mine.
Except I never imagined there were secrets that needed to be shared, lies that needed to be confessed, truths that needed to be told, demons that needed to be buried.
Once I realized that the depth, the longing, and the sadness and sorrow in her eyes mirrored my own, it was too late.
Love didn’t come to me as heartbreak; it came as everything I’d ever desired.
Walking away wasn’t an option I wanted; it was the only one I had.
I finally found the price of love, and it cost me my soul.

Lost Boy is OUTSTANDING
I finished reading LOST Boy months ago, and I have yet to forget this amazing story. And when I had the chance to download one of my favorite stories of 2018 in an audiobook? I jumped all over the opportunity to hear the story again. I haven't listened to an audiobook by Monica before, and I was way excited for this one. Overall, I loved hearing the story that stole my heart much like Noah had reading LOST boy for the first time... and I knew I was lost all over again to the exceptional storytelling that is a book by M. Robinson. My Review of the book remains unchanged and I have provided it below. Its unequivocally a five-star story and I loved every second of listening to it. Much like when I read the book initially, I remember struggling to put words to my review and still wanting to give a truly honest recounting of my experience so I gave the performance 4.5 stars instead of the five I wanted to give it. You see, I loved Addison Barnes, who voiced Skyler Bell with a perfection that I don't think another could have put to her character. I liked Brian Callanan, who voiced Noah... but unfortunately, something about his performance wasn't as epic as I anticipated. He was sexy enough with a rough, raspy and deep voice yet somehow I didn't feel his emotions the way I did while I 'read' Noah last year. Still, please don't misunderstand, there was nothing wrong with Brian's voice, and it was SUPER hot hearing him voicing Noah's dirty talking, I wouldn't call it perfection either. That said.... I also will be listening to this whenever I am missing the younger Jameson brother and I definitely feel the need to listen to more of Monica's audiobooks! Lost Boy Review: I finished LOST Boy three days ago, and I had to work on this review every day since. You see, I truly didn’t know where to start… how to tell you that I loved LOST Boy on a whole new level from M. Robinson’s previously released 15 books. There is no denying the talents that M possess or that she’s a favorite author of mine. There are special features to M. Robinson’s work that you will quickly extract and I love every one of them. First, the character growth and development. Unlike most authors in the romance world, M. Robinson doesn’t start her characters' journeys when they meet one another… Oh no, she takes you much farther back to their early lives, to moments that help shape their characters. She makes you fall in-love with her perfectly imperfect characters. M writes dramatic romances with stories that are full of twist and turns and I love her brand of overly angsty, super sexy, full of shock and awe romance. I never know where the stories are headed; they are in essence as far from predicable as they possibly could get. And having read every one of those books, I was prepared to want to throw my kindle and to cry – although I am not known for being prone to tears and it truly takes a lot for a book to break me. That said, LOST Boy did… it broke me repeatedly. I would desperately love to offer far more than the five measly stars that I am limited to with regard to the review. And I hope that while reading this review, you decide to one-click LOST Boy… because I promise you… PROMISE YOU that this book will blow. your. mind! LOST Boy is beautifully destructive and M. Robinson’s best work yet. As I mentioned that M. Robinson is one of my favorite authors. I have read all 15 of her previous books over the course of the last 3 years and I have read them more than once. As a rule, they’re well edited with possibly a minor error here or there and the same can be said for LOST Boy. But what I find remarkable is that she manages to spin utterly unique tales with each book that is going to unequivocally affect readers on multiple planes. You see, with each book M. Robinson writes she sets a personal goal to go after your heart, your mind and your everything! That may seem dramatic, but I promise you, it’s as close to the truth as I could possibly put into words. Since I social media stalk her, I have seen her live chats where she admits to striving towards those outcomes. And if you read her books, you’ll find that M. Robinson successfully raises the level of emotion that the reader will journey within the story. In the case of LOST Boy, M. Robinson had her work cut out for her as Noah Jameson, the hero, had appeared in a leading role in her Road to Nowhere/Ends Here duet. Now, I must say that I have always been #TeamCreed and the divide was absolute in the past. However, after LOST Boy, I am now #TeamJameson all the way. Noah’s story is written exquisitely well and careful attention was paid to keeping LOST Boy a true standalone. Yes, events within the RtN/EH duet helped shape his character and those instances are addressed within LOST Boy, but only the events that were specifically relevant to Noah’s character development. Prior to the release of LOST Boy, my favorite book by M. Robinson was Creed’s duet (RtN/EH) and my anticipation for Noah Jameson to have his own story has been 18 months in the making. However, that same anticipation led me to doubt whether M could do true justice to Noah’s story if these events weren’t addressed properly. I must say that I never should have doubted M. Robinson’s abilities. She couldn’t have written a more perfect book for Noah than LOST Boy. And while not everyone loves Noah’s brand of dirty talking, tatted up bad boy alpha, he is the perfect BBF for me! He made this book more than just sexy a. f.; Noah set my heart galloping. You will not only need a change of panties after this one, you’ll need spare batteries!!! 😉 With M’s books, you always get perfectly imperfect characters who have enough chemistry between the H/h to ignite your kindle. She doesn’t write characters that are easy to love. However, like the saying goes, all the best things in life you have to work for and M works for it!!! You’ll undoubtedly love them, and they will stick with you long after you finish the book. Noah and Skyler are just such characters. When I started reading LOST Boy, I thought she had finally written a flawless individual in Skyler Bell, the heroine of Lost Boy. Only about halfway through this book, Skyler’s ‘imperfections’ are brought to light, and they grow as the book progresses. By the conclusion of the book with the relentless revelations regarding Skyler’s past you can not help but have fallen head-over-heals for the character even while your heart has been repeatedly broken by (and for) her! Although she may not seem like an overly troubled individual, Skyler’s a very deep character with a very traumatic past. Her layers are laid bare in true over-the-top M. Robinson fashion. Additionally, unlike past books by M, Skyler is a brand-new character. She holds no connection to those characters who have starred in past books. And I daresay this injection of new blood will give M many new storylines to explore down the road. One thing is for certain, we have certainly not seen the last of Skyler and Noah because M always gives readers the chance to catch up with her past characters by allowing them to appear in cameos in each other’s books. My expectations for LOST Boy were quite high and yet, M. Robinson managed to exceed my wildest hopes. When you think that an author cannot possibly do better than a past book, you should be prepared for them to blow you away at some point and that’s just what I found with LOST Boy. The storyline is relevant to movements currently seen in our lives on a national stage and this was my favorite story that M. Robinson has written. It truly will leave you breathless and seriously hot. I can’t imagine that anyone who reads LOST Boy reviewing it as less than a 5-Star book. Instead of reading more reviews, possibly spoiling this exceptional book, one-click LOST Boy right now and start reading your next 5-Star book! You’ll end up as spellbound by M. Robinson’s work as I was years ago.

wow. so worth the listen/ read
I know Creed and Mia began this story line. but little brother, Noah and Skylar's story is heart wrenching and beautiful. Lost Boy is exactly what Noah has become after the death of his brother , the loss he feels when his other brother joins ye military and his one friend , his mom is lost in her overwhelming grief of her son that she drowns in alcohol to the point of not functioning at all. Noah finds an anchor in Skylar when they meet sporatocally when they are young, lost, in pain, and alone. This is the worth the read and better when you have read the other books of characters surroundings Noah and Skylar. it is refreshing that it is not all about the MC but the heart of The Lost Boy.

NOAAAAHHHH
Having finished the Road to Nowhere duet, I absolutely HAD to download Lost Boy. Immediately. I needed Noah to get his HEA and more so, I needed to know HIS story. And wow. My heart ached and shattered so many times for him!!!! Noah got dealt a crappy hand at life but my goodness, that didn’t stop him from being an amazing man. Troubled and broken, but amazing nonetheless. He had my heart from day 1! I didn’t care for Skyler AT ALL, though. Up until the VERY end, at least. Then, I finally liked her LOL! I get that she had her own demons too but I just couldn’t warm up to her. And I tried. i really did. Just like the Road to Nowhere duet, LOST BOY is a journey you need to experience. It’s dark, it’s gritty, it is very raw, and so worth the read or listen. Having listened to Creed’s story and then Noah’s, I feel emotionally EXHAUSTED, LOL! M Robinson definitely pulled at my heart strings...and then some. Talk about back to back, INTENSE roller coaster rides. I feel like I need a break to let my heart heal for a while. As for the audio, Brian Callanan and Addison Barnes did a super job narrating! It truly felt as if I had the TV on in the background. They were that good at portraying ALL the emotions. This book is a MUST. 5 stars

A Bit Too Drawn Out
I have mixed feelings about this book, but it had a very slow start so it was hard to get lost in. It took me a while to get engrossed in it and even then, I kept wondering why he was so strung up on her because I didn't see it, but thankfully, there were many revelations that explained a lot about her actions and made me see her a little differently at the end. Still, there was a lot about this book that was hard to swallow like brutality, drug use and sexual abuse, so if those are triggers for you, be warned because this book goes there. Personally, I stayed with this book because of Noah because I wanted to see something good happen for this kid who grew up in a world of bad and I am glad to say, something good finally did happen for him - he just had to go through hell to get it. The nail in the coffin was when the story started to focus more on Skylar’s life (primarily during the 2nd half as the 1st was centered around Noah’s). I’m not a big fan of “celebrity” or “rockstar” I barely got to know Skylar in the first half and then when I finally did get to learn more... I didn’t like her. I can understand how a lot of people loved this book. Apparently Noah and Skylar are introduced in a previous book from this author, so there was already a fanbase for these characters. And again, the writing certainly had a seasoned quality to it.

Awesome
just need to warn all of you. Once you start this book there won't be a good spot to cut it off to get some sleep. It will keep you awake all night wanting to find the perfect part to stop. It was a very good story. Attention grabber from beginning until the end.

OH My WoW!
I have to completely agree with the other reviews in that this book is a complete roller-coaster ride. My soul is in utter turmoil after this listen. This absolutely worth the read/listen/credit! I am still emotionally exhausted from this listen but in such a good way. Words cannot truly describe how good this is, you just have to listen to it! M Robinson, what can I say? This is my first book from this author but wow! I absolutely gravitate to het writing, so real and so raw, I loved every word! Well done! Brian did a great job brining the emotions to this story, he just ripped my heart out every time. Addison was ok too but she lack the depth of emotion Brian brought to the listen. Definitely take the time to listen to this book it will not disappoint.

No!
This book wins the award for the worst romance novel I have ever listened to. The storyline was mediocre and repetitive, the sex scenes were lame. The narrator’s voices were irritating. I don’t know how many times I rolled my eyes listening to the book. Just say no.

Meh
I was so excited to see this on audible since I have been wanting to read Lost Boy but knew it would take me a while to do so. But I can be listening while doing other things, so I jumped at the chance. I wasn’t thoroughly impressed with the story like I with Noah’s duet. The performance was lack luster. The male voice sounded like Billy Bob Thornton in Sling Blade to me and it annoyed me. The female voice was not what I pictured for Skyler at all. Just meh for me.

Lost boy
This book was really entertaining and quite different from others in this genre. It has lots of action and secrets.
