such a shame. I loved the story but the narrator was awful. She seemed to be over dramatic in every word and sentence she read. yes it's a thriller story but it does not mean that every word or sentence read needs to be delivered in such a dramatic way.

the narrator was awful!

This was a great story that really had me gripped but I wished I’d read it in physical book form rather than the audiobook. I found the narration really annoying to listen to. It just didn’t flow and the voices she used for the men made them all sound guilty and awful. I’m sorry to say, It was nothing like any narration I’d heard before and it would put me off any off any others she narrated in the future.

Gripping story

Exciting plot, kept me wondering til the end, but the cadence and upward inflection of the narrators voice annoyed me all the way through. I kept listening to see if it improved but all I could think of was being down under! You know the antipodean AQI that grates? This is an English version. Narrator heavily detracts from storyline and plot. Shame really. Enjoyed this book better than Girl number one by same author.

Book was good, narration not so much
