Summary

A heartwarming holiday listen from USA Today best-selling author Carolyn Brown.

Nash Lamont is a man about as solitary as they come. That's exactly why ranch life in middle-of-nowhere Happy, Texas, suits him. So what the heck is he doing letting a beautiful widow and her three rambunctious children temporarily move in? Before he knows it, they're stringing Christmas lights and decorating the tree...and he's having the time of his life. But after everything he's been through, Nash knows this kind of happiness doesn't last.

Kasey Dawson thought she'd never get over the death of her husband. Nash, with his strong hands and infinite patience, is stirring something she hasn't felt in a long time. Kasey knows the sexy cowboy isn't telling her everything about this past, though. And she refuses to risk heartbreak all over again. But her kids have a plan of their own: Nothing will keep them from having a real family again - even if it takes a little help from Santa himself.

Such A Sweet Story

Found Carolyn Brown by accident and decided to give it a listen. I fell in love with the characters. I love that family is very important in the story and helping someone get through a tough time. Love small town living.

Awwwww so sweet and loving

You guys this book was so sweet. I was on the verge of tears so many times. Im in a military family and one cousin has ptsd. This book does an excellent job describing that for one character and people around him.

Our soldiers and their spouses need so much love. The kids in the book were voiced really well by the narrator. I loved the main characters. The series is good this was book 2. I read this is quarantine even those it was not xmas time!!! Way to go CB!

Carolyn Brown brings back memories of my youth. But she brings the stories of family and love. Something there isn’t much of theses days. This book makes you feel good.

Not your typical storyline

Because the story was different it was a pleasure to listen to. As a captain and an X army nurse I like happy endings especially for those who gave so much for all of us.
