Very well thought of book to write

Excellent narration by Dr Alex and very enjoyable, packed with fully explainable thought out tips, skills and information, totally hits the points of “live well everyday”
Lots of information to easily apply to everyone’s everyday life / living covering each section thouroughly.
Very interesting listen motivational and enjoyable
Already taking and adapting quite a few parts to start off with to my daily life
Helps you be more mindful of certain aspects in our lives we can easily forget about

A book to be proud of

really great listening to this comprehensive guide to basics of adulting, growing up without parents that guide this has helped me understand some of the fundamentals of living a healthy life ☺️

Anyone and everyone should read or listen to this…

What an amazing insight into living your life. I have learnt so much from Dr Alex. Every question I have ever had about my physical and mental health was answered in this book. His calm voice was just what was needed after a stressful day at work. Thank you Dr Alex!

Very helpful and interesting

I found this book really interesting and it is good to have some sound, researched backed and succinct advice in a world where health and well-being information is so conflicting.
Listening to Dr Alex’s narration was lovely and soothing.
My one criticism is that I don’t feel that the book acknowledges the impact that privilege can have on ones health. The advice is easy to follow if you’re middle class and able bodied (like myself) however not everybody can go out and get regular exercise, eat in the way that he suggests and have a bath before bed! It would also be beneficial to have trigger warnings in certain chapters, particularly those that discuss calorie counting.
Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it and I aim to take on much of the advice!

Wonderfully written and read by dr Alex George, nothing fancy but simply put and keeps you interested. Have learnt a lot and will put in to practice some of this techniques.

There are better books than this

Very disappointed in a book that claims to help your overall health. It is basic health and nutrition and dr chatterjee’s books are much better purchases in my opinion.
There is more of “this is the story of me” feel about this book and a few “humble brags”
I did not realise that the writer had been on Love Island but this was mentioned on nearly each chapter, as though he wished to justify his appearance on the show by indicating that this increased his available audience.

“It’s all about him ~ well mostly

I didn’t find this self-help book in any way useful. The author speaks about his own experience, which all seems far too positive. I gave up early on as I felt it is also just a compilation of tips and ideas I have come across before.
