Summary

Left to fend for herself and her five siblings, little Daisy Stanley works tirelessly to defend her family. But will the heavy hand of fate steal all of their futures?

With her mother succumbing to a life of reckless indulgence, Daisy must become the caretaker for her five siblings. Through tireless efforts, Daisy labours at a local mill, struggles to pay rent, and ensures their attendance at church every Sunday.

Then, in a fateful encounter, Daisy resists the advances of her mother's new lover. Daisy pushes him away, and he falls down the flight of stairs. Her mother vows that Daisy will hang for his murder.

Forced to hide, Daisy and her siblings take refuge in the filth of the Oldham mines.

Meanwhile, Perry Dalton, disenchanted with his stepmother's schemes and his father's complacency, ventures out on his own. Finding employment in the mines of Oldham, Perry's life takes an unexpected turn when he catches sight of a mysterious girl who suddenly vanishes from sight.

What follows is a story of two hearts entwined but tragically torn apart by powers beyond their control.

Through unwavering determination, steadfast faith, and the guidance of a benevolent vicar, will Perry and Daisy's paths intertwine once again?

Can Perry somehow locate Daisy and lift her from her despair and discouragement?

And if he does, will she be able to forgive him for sending her away?

In a tale of perseverance, redemption, and the power of love, Perry and Daisy, alongside the Stanley children, embark on a journey to find happiness and forge a future together.

If you are a fan of heartfelt Victorian romance and love to join hearts and root for characters on an emotional journey from tragedy to triumph, Little Daisy is a story you will not be able to put down!
