Summary

Become better at communicating by enhancing your listening skills.

Do you listen to others? Yes? No, I mean, do you really listen to others? If there is room for improvement, then download this relatively low-priced book and become more loved in relationships and by coworkers, or become more effective at what you do and how much information you absorb. This book talks about passive listening, active listening, tips to improve, and thoughts that will help you show more interest in others, something that is much needed in today's fast-paced, digital society.

Sweet, simple, and to the point

This book was a nice quick listen to remind yourself of little things you may or may not do well as a listener. Perfect for a short flight.

Felt like a summary

Where is the rest of the book. Is this a summary. What there was, was good but seems like more is needed. This will get me started.

I was hoping to learn something I didn't already know, however some of the tips were helpful.

Enjoyable and to the point.

I've always been a passive listener, accidentally. just looking for self improvements. This read was cute and helpful.

Restates the obvious

Keeps restating about 5 bullet points on how to be an active listener. Neither the approach nor the information are novel or new. This book won’t change you nor equip you to be a better listener.

The author is straight to the point

Christian (the author) gets right down to business. His writing style flows nicely. You will want to read this more than once, it's short so you should find that easy to do.
In short an easy read, tough things to put into practice. But, for me,worth the effort... for you too.

Wonderful quick listening.

Straight to the point. No big words to follow. Great advice. Short enough for my husband and I listened to it together. Very upbeat.

Short and Helpful

This is a short book that neatly summarises what stops people from being effective listeners and provides practical strategies to improve one's listening skills. It explains why our desire to be listened to is stronger than our desire to be a genuine listener, why this holds people back from being better listeners, and provides a neat and simple suggestion of how this can be overcome.
