I have listened and become engrossed in this tale of Worls War II. Young Lily learning each lesson so painfully but coming out a much better person...a beautiful read, thank you

Wow what a story. I couldn’t put it down. The narration was excellent to. It’s great to know it was inspired from people that the author spoke to who had lived through the war. Thank you Shirley for such a great book.
