Summary

New York Times and USA Today best-selling author S.E. Smith brings another adventure filled with action, suspense, and a love worth fighting for.

Sometimes life begins after you die. At least it has for Lily O'Donnell. Lily O'Donnell had always wanted to find a love as beautiful as her parents had. When her father suspiciously dies in an accident and her mother is brutally raped and murdered, Lily has to fight for her life. When she is trapped by the man who murdered both her parents and threatens to do to her what he did to her mother, Lily feels she has only one choice to avoid a fate worse than death.

Reborn to help others, Lily reappears time after time to help families in need, only to die again once the families no longer need her. Things change when Maggie Cunnings finally has enough of her three nephews' attitudes. Wanting to go home to sunny Florida and leave the frigid winters of Wyoming behind, Maggie prays for a little help in teaching the Cunnings brothers how to live and love again. The Cunnings men aren't the easiest to get along with; they've gone through six housekeepers in as many months. When Maggie hires Lily to be their new housekeeper, sparks fly as the brothers and Lily learn that living and loving sometimes comes with no guarantees.

When a madman targets Lily, believing she has the knowledge to make him an immortal, the men have to come together as a family to help save the woman they love. Will they be able to save her and make her theirs, or will she once again be taken away?

save your money or read with an insulin infusion

Omg Lilly's cowboys, some hot sex but otherwise what total pants!! I LOVE a good cowboy romance but this was far from good. The characters and plot we're implausible, corny and irritating and the dialogue was frankly roadworthy at times.
Plus, it was so sentimental and sugary it made my teeth furry and I'm worried I may have pre-diabetes and am.now going to need to be medicated, !!
I kept waiting for a fairy godmother to show up or a conversation with God on a cloud.
It was like a dirty and extremely schmaltz version of highway to heaven.
If you like cheese you'll love it, me I'm proudly lactose intolerant and am off to scrub my ears with bleach!!

Wow! Three Brothers - Three Lovers?

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes, it was different. Not sure I would listen to it again. A four-some is not my cup of tea. Although the story line was a great concept.

Would you be willing to try another book from S.E. Smith? Why or why not?

Oh I always will read her books. It just happened that I really don't care for 1 woman and 3 men relationships.

Which scene was your favorite?

I think at the end when she came back and met the first brother at the barn.

Did Lily’s Cowboys inspire you to do anything?

No, it really didn't. The storyline was great - just not my cup of tea.

The description didn't mention the spanking .I don't like that kind of thing so I skip it where I could other than that
it was good.

Nicely done!

I loved this book as well as the narrator she sucked me into the story so hard that I had tears in my eyes even when out in public.
I thought that this was a contemporary cowboy story at first. I love this author's scifi books so thought I would try it. I discovered that it has a paranormal aspect in it.
I will be seeing if there are more books in this series.

I Could Have Cried At The End So Sweet

i don’t think you could call this paranormal but there is an element of faith, goodness and retribution in the storyline.
Lily is a sweet, loving and wonderful person who does good for people who need it.
Three brothers whose parents were three men to one woman are falling apart for various reasons. Lily is sent to them to help them,,,and she does, all falling in love. This multiple partners can be difficult to have a plausible storyline but with the characters, personalities, and their own upbringing it works
Excellent narrator!

Peter's Answer??

I guess Peter got his answer, but I am glad the story ended the way it did since they all deserved the chance to love after so much loss.

Amazing!!!

LOVED IT! HAVE TO READ IT! I can honestly tell you that stories like these aren't appealing to me but after reading this one I changed my mind. At first I was a bit confused. As the story continues to unfold it became clear to me that I was still confused. Everything else in the story was so interesting that I wasnt bother by what Lily really is. Yes in the back of my head I was wondering especially after the brothers found out but it didn't bother them so it didn't bother me. Overall I had a good time reading it and I could put it down from start to finish. In just few hours I was done and fully satisfied how it ended.
